Guys, I received my documents and PR today after all these months of waiting. They managed to send it back one day before it reaches 6 months, brilliant! Hello can somebody explain to me. Does the home office starts counting the six months period just after they receive ones application or do they actually count it from when they issue the COA. Becasue they seem not to be explicit on how the six months begin.

Most of the straightforward applications have their PR within 6 months or even less. The home office is now aware that exceeding the time given can b a breach of the european regulations so they have stick to the rules. Most of the delays happen in cases of retention of rights.
