Re: Online EEA PR and EU passport return service available

Can anyone post a timeline for their online EEA permanent residency application from this summer? Am very interested to know how long it might take after the passport return service appointment. Thanks https://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-route-applications/pr-processing-time-for-non-european-t240...

Re: Online EEA PR and EU passport return service available

Hi All, I have a very quick question for those who completed PR application for the EU citizens. The online form has a section about ID document (in my case a valid passport) and there is a field called 'place of issue'. I don't have such a field on my passport. There is 'Authority' (field no 9 on ...

EEA PR application - how long for COA?

Hello all, I lodged my EEA PR application in late-September and got the biometrics done by 13 Sep. I noticed on the timelines thread that most people who submitted their biometrics received their COAs in a week to two. I have been waiting 3 weeks now. How long does it usually take for applicants to ...

Re: Changing Jobs While PR being processed

This will likely take a lot more than a couple of weeks. Perhaps a couple of months is more plausible.

Midway through the application timeline, is there a way to inform the Home Office regarding a new job?

This was my question.

Changing Jobs While PR being processed

Hello, I was wondering, in case you change jobs when your PR application is being processed, is there a way to update your file and add to the supporting documentation? My wife (EEA national) and I (non-EEA spouse) are about to send our DCPR application this week. It's likely my wife will have a new...

Re: Permanent Residence Card - Processing Time 2017

Hello, My spouse and I will be sending our PR applications over the next month or so. We were wondering - in case we request for our passports to be returned, how are the Permanent Residence cards issued to us if not issued as vignettes on one of our passport pages? Will they be cards much like the...

I had requested my EEA national spouse's passport back on April 13 for business travel reasons, and we received a package today with all the documents plus both our passports in it. Both her RC and mine have been issued and are dated April 15. So, basically, a total wait of 2 months and a week. Refe...

EEA1 case ID number?

Hi. I apologise if starting a new topic on this is an inconvenience to anyone, but this is a bit urgent. Me (EEA2) and my wife (EEA1) applied for our permits together. My wife needs her passport back urgently for some work-related travel so we need to request just her passport back, not mine. When I...

As I applied combined for EEA1 & EEA2, I received a CoA with a case ID. My wife needs her passport back for work travel so I need to request her passport back. How do we do this? I mean, how do I ask for just the EEA1 passport back? There seems to be no case ID number for that. This is a bit urgent,...

The trick here seems to be to contact them in due time over the passport return email and then proceed to provide them a delayed date at which you need your passport back. It seems to have worked for most people here who I have seen get their RC issued within 2 months or so. I don't know if I'd reco...

Just received my COA (with right to work) a month after application. Seems a bit late compared to most people who applied before or around the same time I did, but I will take it. Better than having no ID at all. There is a case ID number mentioned on it. Do any of you think it would be helpful if I...

Most people in this thread that I have seen post seem to be EEA2 applicants. In my case, we applied for an EEA1 & EEA2 at the same time. I am worried that this might add time to our application and delay it further. The fact that most Feb 2013 applicants received at least their COAs within a few day...
