Re: Delay in Visa handling

Hope you are tracking bludart with the long GWF number, not the passport number. Did you paid the courier fee at VFS already ? if not your documents will be sitting in VFS office for you to collect in person.

Re: UK Visitor Visa application Wife & Husband

As no one else is interested in replying back, I want to answer myself based on my experience.

I think they got both the applications as a single set and they sent that update only with lead applicant's GWF number.

Their visas got approved and it took 10 business days to take the decision.

Re: Delay in Visa handling

Hi,

I might be with courier already, please track on blue dart with GWF number. When we received a message from British Deputy High Commission, Chennai that they took the decision and sending docs back, we thought that it will arrive in 2 days.

But blue dart took 5 days to deliver it.

Re: exceeded absences in the last 12 months

I know this is silly, but make sure you are counting your days of absence correctly. Note that for a given trip, the day that you leave the UK and the day that you enter should NOT be included in your tally. Perhaps this drops your wife's total days outside the UK in the last 12 months to 100 or le...

request them to confirm me by writing that there are no negative remarks on me with this issue on their system. You can of course apply for an SAR in your own name to see what notes the Home Office has on you, and probably a good idea for your wife to do the same, as the Indian passport was withhel...

Usually an absence of 100-110 will be disregarded.
So you mean to they are not strict about 100 days, will they consider 110 days.. is this applicable to 300 / 480 for section 6 (2) / section 6 (1)
