Re: Tier 1 Enterp. Extension Refused

Congratulations.

I am glad that you were able to overturn the decision at the AR stage and that you didn't have to go down the fresh application route and incur the extra expenses.

Good luck with the next portion.

Re: 50k Extension application refused

@bizman - Honestly amidst all the excitement of getting my BRP and documents back I forgot to check until you mentioned it. I checked just not and there has been no refund so far. Will update again if and when it turns up. Thanks for the reminder

Re: 50k Extension application refused

Passport and all remaining documents arrived today 21/11/2017

Not sure if any of this has to do with the fact that I contacted my MP, or whether it had coincided with the Home Office processing my case. Either way, glad that it is over on a positive note.

Re: Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) refusal

Why not fresh application ? What made you go for JR? You could've gone for JR as a last resort or when you've exhausted all your other options. Unfortunately the 10 year rule will not apply with your current circumstances, as you are now considered an overstayer. When you win your JR then the time y...

Re: Subject Access Request for 2nd time

@zamaha terribly sorry about this. I am just reading this now. It is extremely unfair the way that the home office drags the application like this with absolutely now ay to push for decision or at least know how far along the investigation one is. But this is too long. I am quite surprised the the M...

@jafersadeq -thanks, I have learned the hard way, trust me I will not be making the same mistake twice. Also I have learned not to trust solicitors and barrister blindly (they filled everything on my behalf and I skimmed over the paperwork thinking they know better). You have to review everything yo...

Hey Guys and Gurus, I am updating this thread, I have finally managed to secure my Tier 1 Entrepreneur 50k Extension after a long and arduous battle. Re: IHS number

I do not think that there is a minimum time after which you can start tracking your application. Although if I were to make an educated guess, I would say it is after your fee is deducted and biometrics are enrolled. Either way, the online visa tracking system is an experimental one and doesn't give...

Good for your friend - really happy for her. But as other members on the farm have mentioned, there appears to be no pattern at all in how they screen applicants and applications. Some people get complex letters and receive a decision in the 8 week time frame while others get the same letter and wai...

Monthly is still reasonable.
Weekly reporting when your application is valid is excessive.
Hope you hear from them soon.

Still reporting weekly since April 1st. I have passed the 6 months mark since i sent in a fresh application. They also indicated that the home office ...

I am not a Guru, but i have always taken that to mean the first time you entered the UK with the intention to stay i.e. period that counts towards your continuous residency. Re: tier 1 entrepreneur administration review refused

I agree, that you won't have a chance to win JR. It will be a waste of time and money.

You should definitely prepare a fresh application with RTI which includes all the missing information. This would be the best way forward.

As for PAP and JR - you can do that at any point in time.
