Re: Approval - Interesting

Good for your friend - really happy for her. But as other members on the farm have mentioned, there appears to be no pattern at all in how they screen applicants and applications. Some people get complex letters and receive a decision in the 8 week time frame while others get the same letter and wai...

Agreed, that is what my barrister and my solicitor both said.

I hope I get some positive news - thanks for the words of encouragement.

Monthly is still reasonable.
Weekly reporting when your application is valid is excessive.
Hope you hear from them soon.

Re: New IS96 Reporting Document

Still reporting weekly since April 1st. On the advice of a barrister friend of mine, I wrote 2 letters - one to my case worker and another to Beckett house stating that i have been reporting weekly since I received the letter. Barrister said that I can ask for the reporting to be reduced to fortnigh...

Re: 50k Extension application refused

I have passed the 6 months mark since i sent in a fresh application. I contacted my MP a couple of weeks ago to chase the home office and called back today for an update, they haven't even sent out a request to the home office yet as they are "snowed under". They also indicated that the home office ...

Re: Immigration History -D

I am not a Guru, but i have always taken that to mean the first time you entered the UK with the intention to stay i.e. period that counts towards your continuous residency. Not the times I was here on a tourist visa or on a business visa. Not sure if that is correct, but its my cents worth. Hope it...

Re: tier 1 entrepreneur administration review refused

I agree, that you won't have a chance to win JR. It will be a waste of time and money.

You should definitely prepare a fresh application with RTI which includes all the missing information. This would be the best way forward.

As for PAP and JR - you can do that at any point in time.

Re: 10 Years completed while JR in process.

I know the answer to this one... it has been asked a few times already on here. If you apply get refused - reapply and get refused again, it means that you have lost your continuous stay so the 10 year rule doesn't apply and you are considered an overstayer. If you are successful in your JR, then th...

Re: 50k Extension application refused

That is just inexcusable, I do not know how they can possibly justify this timeline. Particularly with zero communication as to what is going on. In my case, I applied got refused because of RTI format but aced all other categories. I went for AR and it was refused. So I made a fresh application wit...

Re: 50k Extension application refused

That's disappointing to hear. I was keeping the MP scenario up my sleeve as a last resort. It is quite frustrating to wait endlessly, not knowing where or how or when your approval will come through. I feel for you. A lot of people have touched the 6 month mark including myself. Call from MP office ...

Thanks for the extensive list of questions, they do help. It is good to know what they are looking for in order to be prepared with the relevant paperwork. T...
