Well, if you had taken just one minute, you would have noticed that the answer is there, in black and white, with reference, for settlement and for naturalisation. Even after the hint of asking you to browse the forum, you didn't notice many of t...

Ask them what? To explain why they have changed reporting date? Is there a legal right to be on a certain reporting date? They have changed the reporting date for whatever reason. What difference does it make?

There is no procedure to rush Indian passport issuance. Pasports get printed in India. The only thing that they can do for urgent travel is issue a paper one way travel document, called emergency certificate.

Re: reply

Buying property does not give you any residency rights. Good you have pointed this out. Many people think that once you buy a property in UK, you will have some kind of right (express or implied) to get a UK visa as an when you want. A foreigner can buy property in UK, but it can also happen that a...

Do you really think that HO is playing some kind of silly game and asking people to send documents to some unknown or wrong address.

Why were the post office people perplexed by the address? Do they think that Bristol is a non-existent city? Or does Bristol have no PO Boxes?

Will the BHC be concerned about it? If not, then easiest way is to get ROA, and once in UK they can surrender child's passpot to HCI in UK. At least they can give it a shot. Or, they can just keep researching and keep trying for a British Passport. If they do not provide what BHC asks to provide, th...
