Mr Dee Struction is a working full time. He is employed by the same employer for more than 6 months . He does not get a fixed salary. I don't think that 3 months is "ages".

UKBA does mention 6 months.

If you read the timelines on this forum, most people seem to be getting it in under 2 months. Many within 5 weeks period.

So, what I have gathered and learned is, Mr Dee Struction does not meet cat A requirements, but then I found out that he does meet cat A requirement, before finding out that he does not meet cat A requirement and must apply under cat B, before finally finding out that he can actually fit into cat A....

Don't worry, I know this is guidance only, and oisc advisor / solicitor etc.

Just though there would be a bit precise guidance to my very precise query.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed.

1. It will be taken into account.

2. Paying the money does not change the fact that County Court Judgement has been passed against you. Hence you must mention it.

Actually, many naturalisation applications only take about a month. I know of a recent real life case where naturalisation approval arrived in post exactly 29th day of when the application was posted.

What is a base contract? To avoid confusions, I gave a real life example of Mr Dee Struction and detailed the amounts he has earned every month for past six months. I have also mentioned that Mr Dee Struction has been with same employer for more than six months. I also mentioned that he gets paid ev...

Reading from this forum, most people pay by credit/debit card, which is a good, easy and quick payment method. Not heard any real horror stories about payment problems with BC applications. Nationality team seems to be very efficient. Even if by a remote chance your payment gets declined, nationalit...

As you will be paying one consolidated discounted fee, you just submit one payment slip.

Thanks everyone. I must admit that first time ever in my life I am having to ask for clarifications about immigration matters. The language and drafting used in rules/guidance is very confusing. From my above examples it appeared that Mr Dee Struction would meet the requirement under cat A. But when...

Re: EEA to UK citizen - but with recent 5 years of non-work!

Once you're settled it's irrelevant if you claim benefit or not. The life in the UK test will be sufficient if you apply before October 2013. Get the book sit the test and get your application put in. Anyone wanna lend me £950? What happens in October, btw? Unfortunately I did not win the £...

Thanks very much Amber.

As far as calculating yearly income, I know that 12 months wage slips can be supplied if they total £ 18600.

Just wanted clarification whether only 6 months wage slips would suffice as per the example of earnings of Mr Dee Struction.

How do you prove that you will continue to earn £18600? I live in a practical world, and know a few things about how things work in real life. Now UKBA needs a letter from employer (employment letter) and in that letter employer has to confirm the gross annual earning of the employee. Now I think wh...

In theory you can apply for your first passport from Pakistan, but it can take a long time. Let me stress, a looooong time. 6 months is the minimum, but in practice it can take well over an year.

I would say, do not apply for a passport from Pakistan ever.

Best to apply when you are in UK.

Thanks. Just wanted to confirm and make sure. Too many people ask about this on a regular basis. Don't know why on earth UKBA had to do this salaried and non salaried distinction. The way companies issue wage slips, in many cases you can't tell by looking at the wage slips if the employment is salar...

I have yes. I am sure its 5.1.3 that is relevant to the my query. Where the person is in salaried employment they must have been paid throughout the period of 6 months prior to the date of application at a le vel of gross annual salary which equals or exceeds the level relied upon in the application...

Right, yea. I kinda remember that on old forms there were no sections for children of the sponsor who were not seeking settlement.

In the new forms, they ask for all the children for both partners.

I am sure you will fly through your interview without any problems.
