Is this considered as a civil offence or something? Believe me, if you start digging on what offence it is, and what are the legalities and legistlations of on the spot fines by train companies, then the research would easily run into reading dozens of pages. As VR said, you do not need to disclose...

I am sure it is God's will. If it wasn't God's will, he would not have guided our legislators to include secton 6 (2) in BNA 1981.

Praise the Lord. :)

May I repectfully ask the logic behind asking the same thing again?

And what employment letter are we talking about here?

Have you read the form AN and guidance? Does it ask for a letter?

You solicitor is most likely not a solicitor. Probably just an OISC level 1 advisor aka just a form filler with no brain. If he does not know this basic thing, then he is not even fit to fill up a library form, let alone dealing with nationality matters. If he has infact spoken to a barrister ( I do...

Self employed people need to register as self employed according to the country's laws, and pay the relevant taxes. Process varies from country to country, so you will need to find out what exactly the process is in Germany. Once you are registered, then all the documents of registration will be sub...

Should I write it down? You don't need to declare it, so don't write it down. Will I be rejected? You will not be rejected due to this fine. What are chances of my application getting accepted? You will not be rejected due to this fine. Once again, your fine was not a conviction, so you do not need ...

hundred years = long time. does not have to literally be 100 years. I guess 30 years is long enough for HO to know how to work out if an application falls to be considered under section 6 (2). I am sure before BNA 1981 came into force, there were considerations in the previous acts about the spouse'...

I am sure your english level is equivalent to UKBA requirements times 20. But that is not the point. Equivalent or actual real life practical or theoretical english skills is not the issue. The issue is, does the writing on your paper match what they require. The quick and best way is http://english...

Can't disagree with your view either ban.s OCI is considered to be a citizenship of another State. This will be relevant where we propose to deprive a person of his or her British nationality, under section 40 of the 1981 Act, but need to be satisfied that s/he would not become stateless as a result...

Why email them? They have made all the requirements public, and the whole world has access to their requirements. It does not matter if you have lived in UK for 14 years or 140 years. It does not matter if you have never been to school or you have 1000 GCSEs They have their requirements. You either ...

When the applicant's spouse's nationality is mentioned as "British" in the application form, HO will know the story.

They have been handling this kind of applications for more than a hundred years, so nothing new for them.

I just wonder, when we already had PIO, then what was the point of this whole exercise of OCI ? Creating all these new procedures and drama, for what? What was gained by people of Indian origin who were foreign citizens? There was a long standing demand to amend citizenship act, so that Indians who ...

By the way, name change to OIC from OCI will not change British govts view. It will exactly be the same criteria, under the same Citizenship Act 1955. Only thing that will change will be the new name OIC, and some people who previously could not become OCI will be able to become OIC. That is only if...

Never read a restriction that referees should not have same employer.

The only restriction is, referees should not be related to each other.
