Just to confirm that the ECS check carried out by the employer few weeks after the appeal was allowed came out with the confirmation that I can work.

Hello ,
I am currently in the same situation as yours, appeal allowed but send to HO for reconsideration. I guess this is the standard way to do it if the decision has been made wrongly by them in the first place.
I pray it will be a positive outcome and the waiting period will not be too long.
