Court hearing on regarding ILR instead of LR

I heard there is a court hearing already on british child parents should get ILR instead of LR 2.5 years (10 years route settlement). Does anyone know about this? Please share your views. Thank you.

child is british citizen but their both parents have leave to remain 2.5 years not allowed to public fund unless they got their stay on free visa wavier category. Even child is british they not allowed to take a child benefit, no housing benefit, no child tax credit.

@zee ali sorry for your friends refusal. Even child spend 7 years in uk, they refused. Basically refusal is their policy. Need to fight until the end. No worry its a matter of time, your friend will be granted. God bless.

@smir go for a appeal hopefully you will be alright by the time, now tribunal is very busy you can kill that 4.5 months, finger cross and then you completed your 10 years in uk. When did you applied? can you share your time line, when did you have a biometric and when they refused?

Stick with your employer until your visa and then apply 10 year long residence. Little chance in 7 year child case, almost all the cases are refused under this category.
