doctor immigrating to canada

i am a british citizen of indian origin who would like to immigrate to canada to find a job etc
i hold MRCP as well as CCT in diabetes and endocrinology and general internal medicine from PMETB UK.
could anybody point me in the right direction or give me advice where to start

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN !

So the plan should be i apply for BC.
Once successful apply for wifes ILR.
This much is clearto me.

But what about children....

Do they continue on present visa or can they apply for ILR?

thankyou for your comments john & jaj, Both my children were not born in UK. My wife has been in uk continuously since 2003 & was in uk with approx 4-6 months absences etc previously since 1999. the situation is

I have ILR/settlement visa


My wife and both children are given dependant visa for 2 years with stamp no recourse to public funds.

i was recently given ILR
but my children since they were born in india are all given dependant visa for 2 years. ( they are aged 6 & 10 yrs)

The first one year was on a visiting visa while doing my entry exams PLAB & clinical attachments continuing on to permit free etc.
