Yea I did get the stamp on my passport before getting the IRP. The immigration officer was kind enough as my case is genuine and I submitted EU3 application 7 months ago without being issued any temporary permission.

I suggest wait for 2 week until you get IRP.

Went to local garda station. Told the issue and they rang EU Treaty Rights office and I am given a 6 months temporary stamp on passport and photo taken for IRP.

IRP will take 3 weeks to arrive. Am I allowed to work in the interim period until IRP arrives?

This is the first letter I received from them. They requested police certificate which I submitted and got an acknowledgement that they have received the police cert.

No deadline. But some people were given 30 days deadline.
