Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

I got an email reply (after a gap of 4 weeks) that my application is in advanced stage now. While it
is not possible to give an exact timeframe, this office will be in touch with you as soon as a decision has been reached.

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

This will be unfair given EEA nationals can get away and I don't think department will allow this.
This is all very complex. Let's see what happens.

Re: 2019 Naturalization Response Delay Discussion

Is it the first letter that you got 2 days ago? I checked again, I actually submitted in mid February and got letter of acknowledgement + second stage letter in mid March. It says usually it takes 6 months for an application to be processed from the date of submission. This 6 months is over for me. ...

Re: 2019 Naturalization Response Delay Discussion

Do we need to contact Citizenship dept to get an update? :?: I applied in March and got 1 letter only, which is I think it's a combination of Acknowledgement and 2nd stage. It says "Your application has now been initially assessed and has proceeded to the second stage of application". They requested...

Thanks Dana.

However, many immigration officers from different EU countries are not aware of Stamp4EUFAM. Is there any legal documentation that I could take?

If the EUFAM holder is traveling with or joining their EU citizen spouse then they can travel without a visa.
