hsmp_candidate, sorry about this. I think this people are proving more and more to be incompetent in what they do. Yet they complain against migrants taking their jobs. Anyway, this is a dicey one but if you had copies of important pages it will help you to argue well in case there is need for it. I...

Hi, There should be a court order that will order the HO to remedy your judgement within a particular time frame if you are sure that this case will not be appealed against by HO. Sometimes it takes between 6-8 weeks for your passport to be released to you. According to the information you gave it h...

Samsung, If I understood you very well, you may not need the £20K extra to qualify for extension, is it? If yes, then don't worry about it, just appply based on £40k earning. But if you felt you will need the allowance = £20k to increase your score, then it is better for you to mention it to HO. ...

Del, I presume you have a good case here. Since you applied based on the old rule/policy, that is, before 3rd April 2006, then in my own view, which I think also in HO's you stand a good stead of qualifying for ILR after 4 years. I believe you will get ILR when HO eventually release a new policy doc...

Best advice from the heart man, PATIENCE! You have waited till now from 2004 or 2005 over 48 months. So, whatz hampering you from being patient to see what the HO will come up with in just a few weeks from now or waiting till May 2010. All I can say is PATIENCE, thatz what you need. I can understand...

You had almost six months of absence between Dec'04 and June 05. From June 05 till date fine, going to 4 yrs continous stay with less that 90 days absence. Because you came in before April 3 2006, you obviously qualify for ILR after 4 years, if the UKBA remedies coming out soon decides to include WP...

If there is a provision in the form to mention your driving offence then you can do that but if it is silent on the form, it is not obligatory or compulsory for you to mention it. Howbeit, this offence does not constitute a ban or long restriction as per not driving again in the UK. I don't think yo...

Flyinghigh,

I will suggest you call the HO and confirm directly or get an immigration lawyer to help you in this case.

Or is there any one with similar experience who has gotten ILR?
