Re: Tier 2 to ILR checklist

UKVI does only mandate the latest payslip and bank statement. Why people tend to take 3 months payslip and bank statement? I double checked on the Set(O) form 7/2018. Am I missing a trick here? I believe that if you are relying on other people such as family or friends to help you financially, you ...

Re: Payslip and Bank statement no earlier than one calender month

Justlorde - I have requested the same thing from my employer even though my latest payslip will have been issued 27 days prior to my application date - just as a precaution. It would seem odd to me that UKVI follow their own definition of "calendar month" but then again... (My previous post should ...

Re: Payslip and Bank statement no earlier than one calender month

Hello, Any one else faced similar situation before regarding payslip (one calendar month old). My Payslip is date 25th September 2018 and my ILR appointment is on 25th Oct 2018. I wont be able to submit October payslip. My bank statement will be recent(with in one calendar month ). can you please s...

Re: HELP PLEASE - Set (O) application form

I'm not surprised your company gave you bad advice - what I've found is companies really try to do that in order to tie you in. I've got a new job and company waiting for me once I do my ILR (October 22nd!!) but they tried to put me on another sponsorship (which I told them no dice - ILR or I walk)...

Re: HELP PLEASE - Set (O) application form

That's great - congrats!!! I came from a Tier 5 YMS and 2 x Tier 2Gs so won't have to worry about any additional paperwork for those applications I wouldn't think. This is visa #4 for me and it NEVER gets any less stressful I knew the prices are substantially increased but wow! I'm not surpr...

Re: HELP PLEASE - Set (O) application form

Let me know how it goes. They would just look everything up on their systems anyways so they would be able to see your total amount of time spent in the UK even on your other visas. The whole point of this process is to show your dedication to living and contributing to the UK...

Re: HELP PLEASE - Set (O) application form

I actually posted the exact same question as your first question as I originally came here on a Tier 5 YMS. I am including that time on my application for my ILR (Set O) even though this application is based on my 5 years Tier 2 General. I will be submitting my passport with my YMS even though it's ...

Re: Tier 2 - ILR on 5 year route - Payslip questions

I wondered the same thing about the 3 months of bank statements for Set O when it asks for 1 month! As for the payslips, I am just printing mine. I also do not actually receive a payslip but matched with the letter from my employer as well as a bank statement, it's obvious to see that it's real (it ...

Re: Length of Time in the UK

This is potentially a very silly question but I am going to ask it anyways. I am doing my ILR in a few weeks' time and always do a "practice" application a few weeks out in case I come across any odd questons. Anywho, low and behold I came across one question in the application (Set O) which asks h...

Re: ILR approved but brp card not received

If you had representation, they could have also sent the card to your representative and/or lawyer. That happened to me 3 years ago when I switched employers - despite putting my address, HO sent my BRP to my employer's lawyers office. They weren't expecting to receive it so weren't on the "look-out...

Re: ILR - T2 General - Job Title Change

I would be interested to know as well! My job title has changed but my duties are all the same as my original CoS. I am doubtful my company has updated the SMS to reflect this (it's changed several times) and am now thinking that this might be a reason I was asked, about 1.5 years ago when I re-ent...

Re: Tier 2 to ILR checklist

You are way, way overthinking this. I don't get stamped when I go back to Canada and I never get stamped when going from Canada to Cuba (which I've done and declared on previous visas). I have never had any issues and nor have I supplied plane tickets

Re: Previous Employer does not have complete absence details

If there is a reason for not including those 5 days, write why and prove that you were paid as normal. Either get this in writing from your employer or write it in your cover letter explaining why. Then use payslips and bank records to prove you were paid for these absences.

Re: Set(O) ancestry application, booking issues

I can't see how the post + PSC would work without you paying twice but stick at it. There was a long thread about booking an appointment about a week ago and can take some time. It took me about 36 hours of constantly trying but managed to get an appointment. Midnight on a Monday morning (technicall...

Re: Previous Employer does not have complete absence details

A caseworker can give discretion if you have absences of less than 30 days per residence year and you do not have a letter from the employer. That said, my previous employer was not able to give me a letter stating any of my absences while I worked for them as they were acquired and changed HR syste...

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

Here's a question. I just got a ring for a page change and immediately saw a whole bunch of dates open up for Croydon except they don't load any appointments? (There were appointments for Oct 5th but that's it) Even when I press "see 10 more available appointments" it doesn't load anything? Hi Lynz...

Re: ILR Approved Aug 2018 (Tier 2 G)

This is really useful. I was put in for 2 raises about 6 months ago and was told it MIGHT appear on my September payslip. I'm due for my ILR and have my appointment booked for Oct 22nd. If my pay raise suddenly appeared in September on my payslip, I was going to have my employer write the reason for...

Re: Notice Period and ILR

It seems really straightforward to me as I would imagine this is a normal circumstances if an employee switches jobs, obtains a new visa and THEN hands in their notice but is required to work their notice period. As long as you weren't working for both employers/sponsors at the same time during your...

Re: ILR - Premium service - No slots available for next 45 days! HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Woo hoo!! Managed to get a booking in Croydon for Oct 22nd. There were tons that have opened up! A tip for people struggling: use BOTH a laptop AND your mobile. My mobile loaded A LOT faster than my laptop but I thought if I could tag-team it, then I might have more success. Was a bit hairy there fo...

Hi all, I have been able to book the appointment now. Thanks for all the tips shared in this forum. For anyone facing similar issue, I would reiterate the following advices- 1. Be flexible for any premium service center (as postal service might take as long as 1.5 years and you cannot leave the cou...
