One surprise though - even though I ticked "met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement" they insisted I had to supply the necessary certificates again, which fortunately I had on me. If you have a valid passport the stamps in the passport will prove your stay. You don't need anything else. You need all valid and expired passport to be sent. If your latest passport is expired, then you will need extra documents like P-60, bank statements, council tax bill etc to prove your stay....
