If you were arrested by mistake and there were no charges, no convictions or warnings then I think you are fine.

You should get a letter from HO soon, usually between 7-15 days.
NCS should mail tracking number.

Yes.
If you left UK on 20.12 and returned on 22.12 you would count only 1 day as being absent.

3. I think you have to be present in the UK in order to be excessing treaty tights. I also think comprehensive sickness insurenece is mandatory if self sufficient as it is to serve so you are not a financial burden on the host state.

Just my opinion.

All EEA nationals have a right to continue to reside in the UK as long as they are a ‘qualified person’, i.e. they are an EEA national exercising Treaty rights in the UK. I don't think it is possible.
One of the requirements for naturalisation is to be UK resident for the last 5 years and to hold ILR which you lose if you have been out of UK for more than 2 years.

I have travelled twice on my ILR between the time I had my ceremony and applied for British passport.
I had certificate with but was not required to show it.

For absences up to 730 days you must have been UK resident for 7 years. Note that when you apply for discretion you must state that you have made UK you home together with your family and that most of your estate us in UK.
