Re: Albanian applying for a uk spouse visa.

Think this one might be difficult, given his extremely poor immigration history. Added to that Albanians have just about the worst repute for immigration offences in the country of anyone so you've certainly got a massive battle ahead. You daughter has a right to family life sure, but not that this ...

Re: Tier 2 visa issue-help needed!

My friend is a nurse and a tier 2 visa holder, but was recently suspended by NMC for a year pending investigation and review every 6 months. To support her appeal she is trying to work as a healthcare assistant so she can get the references she needs but because of her tier 2 visa, she is unable to...

Re: Spouse Visa

Although never consistent on this issue - UKVI generally views contractors as self-employed rather than employer/employees, so will probably look for 12 months earnings, and a set of accounts with CT600 and CT paid.

Re: need help!

UKVI are wise to frivolous and vexatious application made purely to buy time, so the issue you are facing might well be a more serious one.

If you partner is EU (and not British/Irish) FLR FP is not the correct application anyway.

Re: Third party spouse visa financial support

Hi, Thanks for your response, I have read through the document and about article 8. Re: Girlfriend overstayed visa, is spouse visa viable?

Thanks for the quick reply Casa and the explanation of criteria for refugee. I would consider marriage if it has a large probability of working. I've read advice saying it's better/essential for her to go back to her own country to get married there but her friends have told her if she leaves, it's...

Please does anyone know if there have been any changes made to the HO law after the final judgement on the 14th November 2017 when Lounes case has become successful? Or it still the same thing when your non EU family member can not apply on your grounds to be EU member while having British citizens...

Re: Can a non-EEA resident in Ireland work in the UK?

My two friends recently were wondering about this and I told them about this website. My Brazilian friend has been married to an Irish man for about 1 year and she is a resident in Ireland as the wife. He has a good job and is under contract but the Brazilian woman wants to work in the UK because s...

Re: Citizenship question

What about if I have a UK Ltd. and I work in Ireland as a contractor? Normally I would pay around 20% in taxes. I would pay those taxes to UK (as my Ltd. would be created in The UK) or how would this work? As I said above, one-man PSC's like contractors use are subject to local tax from tax one, so...

Re: Brit Settling in EU

You will always have the right to live in Ireland due to pre-EU arrangements, and obtain Irish and therefore EU citizenship after five years. Trouble is the Irish economy is going to go up the shitter, I was here during the Celtic Tiger and the following crash and I can see it all being set up to h...

Re: Citizenship question

Also if you are are contracting you will be liable for Irish taxation from day one, personal and corporate, there is no avoiding this, one-man companies cannot use posted worker status and the 183 day concession. You will need to register in Ireland for a PSC card and with the Revenue Commissioners,...

Re: Moving Ireland with Non EU Spouse (overstayed visa in UK)

Hi Albert, It would seem your priority is to bring your wife across the border and into Ireland. How you do this is entirely your choice. Legally bringing her here may be a challenge due to her adverse immigration history in the UK i.e. applying for a visitor visa. Your wife going back to her home ...

Alene Foster is a relative voice of reason compared with the nut jobs we've had to deal with on both sides of the border/political fence in Ireland, from Dr. Ian Paisley to Gerry Adams, to Johnny 'Mad Dog' Adair to Martin McGuinness. Londonderry was just about the most god-awful place I've even been...

Re: Questions about marriage visa for my albanian boyfriend

So what visa do I use to bring him to the uk to marry him and then he stays? A fiance visa, costs £1464 and you will still need 6 months evidence of meeting the financial requirement. You are required to marry within the 60 months and then apply in the UK for a spouse visa on FLR(M), meet all the r...

Re: Questions about marriage visa for my albanian boyfriend

You need six months of payslips and an employers letter plus employment contract. Marriage/Fiancee is up to personal choice. You mention six month marriage visa - that's not appropriate as it's purely to marry on - then leave, no switching is possible. It's mainly for those wishing to marry in UK an...

Cheaper to pay for local care, that's the argument you are up against.

ADR is almost impossible to obtain, extremely expensive and carries certain fiscal obligations.
