Re: EU employees are already being actively discriminated against

It''s not discrimination it's due dilligence. Are you serious or are you just trolling? The HO itself has insisted that nothing changes at the moment and nothing is required from either the employees or the employers. So what would be the point of making a register or EU employees and pushing them ...

Thanks CR001! With regards to the unmarried partner visa, and " the strict 2 years cohabitation in a relationship akin to marriage with documentary evidence to prove it ", if my BF and I have never lived together, but have been in a relationship longer than 2 years, is there any chance we could sti...

Re: Irish Nationality and Citizenship act of 1956

Have you contacted anyone at the Department of Foreign Affairs about this? I was curious and read through the Act and it seems what you're saying is true, but realistically I can't imagine it would work out. In theory wouldn't that mean that basically everyone born prior to 1956 with any Irish ance...

If you have split up you have no right to remain or apply as a spouse, unless I'm missing something, your post isn't very clear.

Re: EEA permit compulsory or not

Between Ireland and UK, there is Sea. So Bus is not possible, it has to be done with Ferry or Airplane. Immigration Staff at Ferry terminals will check whether you have proper ID like Passport, Visa or not. I think that Non EU passport holders can get stamp also if they have valid visa. OP is askin...

Re: Marriage Breakdown: UK born children involved

What would happen when a marriage breaks down between a U.K. citizen (dad) and a non-EU citizen (mom) who have U.K. born children (but with dual citizenship)? It says that if the marriage breaks down, the mom would have to return to their home country, but what happens with the children when the da...

What is the best way to go forward in this case?
Should we wait for a year and apply next year? or Try a different visa category- Tier 1- Entrepreneur or Tier5 - temporary work visa.
You mean what's the best way to circumvent the immigration rules?

Re: Entering northern Ireland after tier 5 via republic of Ireland.

Chances are being caught are very low, I cross the border a lot (M1) and I've seen nothing, though I think there is a pull-in area on the motorway that they must use for border checks if they ever bother. More risky if you stopped in the North by PSNI officer etc or have an accident etc, can happen ...

I think if you separate and move back to France with your daughter he will have no valid leave to remain in EU.

Wait for others though, I'm not 100% confident I'm correct.

Re: Irish Nationality and Citizenship act of 1956

What I'm getting at is that if my father became a citizen in 1956 then he will not have had to register before I was born....which incidentally is before 1986 and any of the amendments that you're referring to. I'm liking this one, fancy a pint? Felinfoel? aka Feeling Fowl from my time in South Wal...

Re: Irish Nationality and Citizenship act of 1956

Think you need to read the subsequent Acts that amend the 1956 Act The statute law governing Irish citizenship is the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 1956, as amended. The 1956 Act has been amended by the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Acts 1986, 1994, 2001 and 2004. Bound to be something i...

Marriage should be ok, previous transgressions are usually discounted, except if deception, fraud, false passport etc. And the usual - prison type stuff, drug dealing etc You wouldn't qualify as unmarried partners as you've not lived together as man and wife so I'd say marriage, expect a few tough q...

Re: Spouse Visa

Although never consistent on this issue - UKVI generally views contractors as self-employed rather than employer/employees, so will probably look for 12 months earnings, and a set of accounts with CT600 and CT paid.

UKVI are wise to frivolous and vexatious application made purely to buy time, so the issue you are facing might well be a more serious one.

If you partner is EU (and not British/Irish) FLR FP is not the correct application anyway.
