Re: Address on BRP Letter

Hello people. Please can anyone help? I have not moved from the address. I will just not be living there for the next 4 weeks because of work and it is 3 hours away from where I am currently staying which is why I would need to be sure the mail is from HO before setting off as I cannot afford to go ...

Re: Address on BRP Letter

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I meant the address on the envelope that holds the letter. I want my flatmate to be able to identify which letter is from Home Office without having to open all the letters that come in for me in my absence.

Re: Switch From Tier 2 General to Tier 1 Entrepreneur

Since your cousin is in the UK, the money has to be in the UK and not in his personal bank account in India. Also, the money needs to sit for 90 days or he would have to declare it as Third party funding and provide evidence to support this i.e. 1) A letter from the owner of the funds certifying tha...

Re: How many business bank account I can open under Tier 1 E

Why should having more than one business account be a problem? I don't see anything in the policy guidance that prohibits this.

Re: Tier 2 (gen) extension and promotion

Hi Asad,
I do not think you have anything to worry about since the job is under the same SOC code. You would not need an RLMT regardless of if you got promoted and are earning more than you originally did.

Switching from Tier 2 General to Tier 1 Entrepreneur

Dear All, I am in a bit of a fix now. My company sponsored my TIER2 Visa which was granted on January 6, 2014 and was valid till end of February 2017. However, I had a 121 meeting with my Manager today and was informed that my contract would not be renewed after 31 October (6 weeks time) because the...

Your boss is wrong, the salary in the document is clearly stated as being the minimum. Print out and give him pages 3-4: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/employersandsponsors/pointsbasedsystem/cop-skilled-workers.pdf If you apply with a lower salary (prorated for the hours yo...
