Re: Employee Breakdown Question

Hi Marcnath, Thank you so much for your reply. I read and understood it and will put it in motion. However, I had another thought which I was wondering if it could work. Job 1 - Employee C: Sept 2017 - September 18 1 full time job Job 2 - Employee A (13 hours per week) Started 02/07/16 – Ended 01/01...

Thank you for your reply. I applied post 6 April, 2014. The job title is Retail Associate but I believe I can always alter it if necessary.

Employee Breakdown Question

Hi All, My Entrepreneur Visa will expire on Dec 2, 2018 and I am confused as to whether I would meet the employee requirement. I intend to Apply at the end of November, 2018. It is a bit complicated so please bear with me. See employee breakdown below: Employee A (13 hours per week) Started 02/07/16...

Re: Tier 2 to Tier 1 Entrepreneur switching timeline

Hi Jonser, First off congratulations on your successful application. I have a quick question for you - I noted in other posts that you intended to switch to Tier 1 Ent. from Tier 2 Gen. and wanted to know if time spent on these two visas can be combined to get ILR 5 years. Were you able to confirm ...

Re: TIER 2 to TIER 1 Eligibility

Hi, You can't combine Visas from Tier 1 Entrepreneur and Tier 2 General to make up the 5 years. If you switch to Tier 1, you would need to start your 5 years count again. You can only combine different visas for the 10 year long stay route which you would be eligible for in 2023. You can switch from...

Re: Tier 2 to Tier 1 Entrepreneur switching timeline

Yes, I am both a shareholder and sole director of my company. I don't think it is possible for someone to be a sole director in a company and not be a shareholder. That said, I suspect that your friend's company may have been providing services or selling goods in a profession different from that in...

Re: Tier 2 to Tier 1 Entrepreneur switching timeline

I was sponsored by a different company and also a director in my company. The visa rules for TIER 2 visa clearly state that you can work up to 20 hours a week in a different role as long as it is in the same profession on which your visa was issued and the work you do does not interfere with your d...

How many envelopes are application documents returned in?

I am not able to return to my other accommodation till the middle of next week and I was wondering if anyone could tell me in how many envelopes the response from Home Office come in. Is...

Re: BRP Card not received.

If you have your visa approval letter with your name correctly spelt on it then I don't see any risk in giving notice to your current employer as planned. I have never seen nor heard of a case where someone's visa was approved and then withdrawn so it should be okay. Your BRP card should show up eve...

Re: Switching TO Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa from Tier 2 Sponso

Hi Cynthia,
The statement you referred to applies to only Entrepreneur visa. The only way you can apply for the ILR 5 year route is if you have spent 5 years on Entrepreneur or 5 years on Tier 2. You can't combine the two unless you want to go through the 10 year route. Hope this helps.

I seriously doubt that. Parking tickets should not matter as it is not a criminal offense.

Like I said in the previous thread. The MAC report has absolutely no relevance until it becomes part of the policy so work with the policy. Every other thing is pure speculation.

Haha! Good to see that I am not unreasonably confused. If they can let someone stay outside of UK half the year, they surely don't aren't expecting you to be there working full-time 12 months. @attahaas That's what I've noticed too. May be I should email them asking for a definition of that. As lon...

Don't you have 28 days after your visa expires before you can be classed as an overstayer? I think you are okay to apply in-country.

Re: Address on BRP Letter

Thanks for your response but I have read in so many places that mail redirection does not always work. Moreover I would not want a temporary address where I will only live in for 4 weeks to reflect on my credit file. It is so much easier to know what address is at "if undelivered return to" section ...
