Re: Seven months after naturalization can not receive my first British passport

Get your passport in your maiden name and change your name by deed pool then apply for a new british passport in the new name. Sure will waste some money but it will save you a lot of time and hassle. Unless you take the Home Office to court they will not move, they are civil servants who act on pol...

Re: Naturalisation application with 3 speeding points

Hello, Does anyone here know how points on your driving licence affect your application? I have received a Fixed penalty notice, i paid the fine and received 3 points. I never went to court and didnt get convicted. Do i need to declare these on my AN application form? Yes. You need to declare it. A...

Re: Wife false allegation for IRL?

Since your wife has charged domestic violence charges against you that gives her grounds to apply for ILR under excruciating circumstances. Formalise the divorce, notify home office and fight for your rights. If she cannot prove the charges then counter sue for defemation. Removal proceedings will b...

Re: Absence Confirmation Letter - Previous employer

My Previous employer with whom I have worked for over 2 years is not willing to provide me an absence letter. I only have an Email conversation which they have stated that they do not have records confirming my absence. Email is useless for Home Office, it is the Secretary of State's decision wheth...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean I need to get another Tier 2 visa with the offer letter (this will be my third visa from the third employer) for one year as I cant get more than 6 years. Then I need to apply for ILR during that one year period. Is that correct? Not sure why you want to change em...

There is a gap of 14 days from previous application rejection to new application submission. Since it was refused i couldn't do anything but to find new employer and apply with them. Re: Getting EMPLOYMENT whilst WAITING for ILR Decision - HEL

FYI @FeaLLe some of the employers I have approached have been pretty accommodating and I haven't encountered any major problems in respect to this. We should be mindful not to scare people and discourage people who are not as well informed as others. I'd suggest you carry out further research and b...

Re: Getting EMPLOYMENT whilst WAITING for ILR Decision - HEL

if you have applied for ILR before your visa expired then you still hold the right to work whilst waiting for your ILR to be granted so it shouldn't be a problem if trying to a new job. Your visa status while you wait for a decision remains the same as what it was before you apply for ILR. This mea...

Re: Passport not returned/withheld by home office?

Just because you have indefinite leave to remain does not mean it is permanent. If home office rejected your BRP because they found you do not meet the continuous leave period they feel that you have been out of the country; if you leave the country for 2 years then they could revoke your ILR and st...

Re: Child born in UK to Indian parents - visa requirement

Just to add on your child only needs a UK visa if they need to travel in and out of uK (if born in UK).
A lot of people leave their children in boarding schools in the UK till they turn 10 and then register them as a British Citizen directly.

If I were you I would stay put in the UK till you get your new BRP in hand. Remember you have more rights for whatever reason when you are in country than outside. Do not risk it and start applying for new jobs in parallel to hedge your risk in case your new company will not get a sponsorship licens...

Re: Common Travel Region - ILR eligibility?

Does this apply to you? Employment outside of the UK If the absences are connected to other employment outside the UK, which demonstrates the UK employment is secondary, these are not permitted absences, and the continuous period requirement is broken. Absences due to employment, whether related to...
