Re: IS75 &IS76 issued to EEA family Member

As long as you are the family member of an EU citizen exercising treaty rights, your stay in the UK is legal.

You can choose to fight your point of principle or you can make life easy for yourself.

Re: Anyway to apply for British Visa and Schengen Visa same

It is unlikely that you will be able to apply for two visas at the same time. Usually, passports are retained until visa is processed.

As others have pointed out, the right to work has not changed. It stems directly from the directive.

It is possible to enter Bulgaria as you describe, but you won't get a Schengen stamp unless you enter a Schengen country.

Re: Schengen, without the need of visa, for EEA-family membe

Regarding your original post. You do not need visa as you are not a visa national. You can choose to enter as tourists. As wife and family are EU citizens, even without passports demonstrating that, they should be allowed entry as such (provided they can prove this). You, being a family member can a...

Re: british & husband non Eu to stay in spain 6 months

It is possible for you and your non-EU spouse to remain in Spain as long as you are self-sufficient. This means that you need to have sufficient resources to maintain yourself and family members and that you have sickness insurance. Stays of up to three months would not require registration, those o...

Perhaps for normal third country nationals. An non-EU national family member who accompanies or joins, does not overstay provided the EU national exercises treaty rights (the first three months do not require anything special).

Re: URGENT: Refused 1A stamp & denied entry as visitor

I am inclined to believe your acquired EU rights do not expire. If you look at the advocate generals opinion in the sticky thread above (to do with changed in EEA regulations), that view appears to be supported. However, I'm not convinced that the law is yet clear on the issue and therefore suggest ...

I would be inclined to detail your travel plans and request a visa that covers the time you will spend there.

I take it that you are aware that the visa will be free of charge.

OK, it would have been better if you'd clarified that you were in the UK from the outset. No problem, it is clear now. In order for him to be considered to be legally resident in the UK, he requires to show that he is a worker, a student or self-sufficient person. If the latter two, he will require ...

Re: Help with Covering Letter Pls?

What wording do you require help with? You will need to apply for an EEA family permit for the children. Children under 21 of the EU national or their spouse are covered automatically by the directive 2004/38/ec.

Re: EEA4 and time before marriage

Generally, you need to have been living in the UK as the family member of an EU national for five years. For those who are not automatically family members - e.g. durable partners, they require to have their status confirmed first. You don't appear to have done this. In short, you need to wait for f...

Re: RC EEA2 refused... need advice....

I just noticed that the OP is working for a temporary work agency - would this have been an issue? I.e. she is probably working as a temp and not a 'permanent' staff member. Would such an issue exist? I can't see why this would be a problem. Perhaps, it might be less convenient than "conventional" ...

There is an option to mark posts as read in individual forums. I don't see there being an option to mark the whole board as read.

It used to be the case that once logged on, and then, after logging off, all posts were marked as read. Therefore, once one logged on latter on, only the posts made since last logged on were highlighted. That said, I'm guessing as to what the poster itk means by "it was better before, please change ...

Re: New online visa app for EEA family permit

If the form is not clear, you should inform UKBA. I suspect they believe the form to be crystal clear. An application ought to be very simple indeed. Show that you are the family member of an EU national who intents to exercise treaty rights in the UK, bearing in mind that for the first three months...
