Re: First Ceremony of 2019

Can we all agree we should only post when any of us actually receive the invitation and not when we don't? Otherwise there are going to be countless "nothing for me today"?

Goodluck guys
Approvals are gone now... don’t think they will send any more of those with invitation and ceremony on the horizon.

It’s basically the second stage.

Checks with Garda, etc.

Can last anything from one month to four.

It is very strange that they don't send approvals as only 1 month left to ceremony
I think it is now probably overbooked!

Good Morning,
Could someone tell me what does it mean if the INIS wrote in the approval letter that "send the required documents within 10 days in order to be considered in the next ceremony"? Does it mean that I will be scheduled for the ceremony of April?
Thanks
Yes!

I'm just gonna say my hand writing style has developed over the years, and my signature has evolved since the date of issue of the passport?
That's exactly what I wrote them... and it worked! Got a second letter straight after.

Called them today and got info that I need to prepare Eur950.00 + 2 pics :) hopefully its true. I applied as German passport holder in Jul 2018. Germans can’t have 2 citizenships - why would you abandon your German one and pursue Irish? Germany accepts dual nationality with other member states of t...

Re: First Ceremony of 2019

You could be waiting 2 years as well as a few months... there's no timeline really even for straightforward application. For more info you should create your own post so we are not going off-topic on this one

From the INIS website:

From 19th September 2016 anyone applying for a certificate of naturalisation who is aged 18 and above and who is resident in the State, must be registered with the Department of Social Protection for a Public Services Card (PSC).

I then wrote a letter explaining that my writing has simply evolved during the years bla bla and it was fine for them. After a few weeks I received my second stage letter.
