thank you. i am still a year plus away from the ILR submission, but there will be probably anything between 500 and 600 of business absences, and probably up to 100 of personal. And given how many business absences i am going to have, it would be helpful to find a way to show as few as possible wit...

Re: appointment tomorrow - pls help

OK last minute panic has started! Do I need to send any extra documents for claiming UK Experience and Age points for Tier 1 based ILR. I know there is no need for educational certificates as it is not required if submitted with original Tier1 application but not sure about this. My Tier 1 was proc...

I do not know the exact location of where UKBA mentions this but I can tell you from my experience with UKBA. I had counted my total business absences to 216 excluding days of travel. When UKBA returned my documents by post they also sent me spreadsheets that caseworked had used to count business ab...

UKBA only counts whole days. So day of Outbound Travel and Inward travel are not counted. Hence your Mon-Fri absence is 3 days absence assuming you leave on Monday and return on Friday.

I am sure they will consider this if you write a clear and detailed cover letter. They will be able to trace from the HO reference number about the history of the case. Also the visa validity dates should be same as what was stamped in your old passport? By any chance do you have scans or photocopie...

hi jaskiratbaweja, 180 days for personal trip and they were all PAID leave. no single trip was more than 40 days. Ensure that the additional trip you need to make is not more than 10-15 days. I am sure the HO will allow that much flexibility. With regards to entering 4 months later, I think they on...

UKBA is not interested in seeing previous Tier-1 approval letter. They have all that info in their system. From my experience the caseworker just gave HSMP and tier 1 approval letters back as she was not interested in seeing them. So be relaxed if you don't have these letters.

Thanks a lot guys. I wish the same for all of you. It also reiterates that despite absences, cases do get approved. I had 216 Business related absences and 179 Personal absences. On top of that I had 1 year unemployment between 2009 - 2010. So Tier 1 has no issues with employment gaps. Just ensure t...

This has indeed been a very dry week with lots of people with PEO delay waiting and nobody seems to have heard back from Croydon PEO. I do not know how they prioritise and process the applications. You need to choose the option where it is for general queries (I think option 4) or the option that says 'if you have been waiting for more than 6 months'.

Best would be to send a letter by post to CaseWorker Team at Croydon. Otherwise Fax or email is equivalent. Do you know the email address?
