It has to explain the company policy and why were you not paid in the UK. Also did u continue to rent your house and pay council tax while you were away? It is important to show that you continued to be based in UK.

However none of my absences have been for over 90 days at a go. Can I apply for my ILR? The company with which I was working sent me back ...

Dear Brothers Finally its good news!!! I got a call from UKBA at 7pm on Friday 2nd March , that your passports have been endorsed and ready for collection. I picked them this morning. The stamp is dated 22 Feb 2012, which means they were just hanging on to it for all that time. Good Luck to all tho...

Re: Expiry of current leave pending ILR decision by UKBA

I have written confirmation from UKBA which might be of help to many who are in the situation where current leave expires pending ILR decision. If your visa expires and still the decision on ILR is pending then you can vary the grounds of your previous ILR application to Tier 1 extension. If this h...

There is nothing concrete anywhere on saying what happens at PEO if decision is not made on the spot. It's just become a waiting game. I think the SCW won't be spending more than 20-30 mins on a case and he would approve if he says everything makes sense to him. and after that is how quickly the PEO...

There are quite a few people on the boards who have had similar case to yours. Applications which are not decided on same day usually seem to be two scenarios : - 1) An Absence(s) longer than 90 days at a time in which case they give application is valid but further checks needed letter 2) Other app...

additional documents don't necessarily go to postal queues - the speed of approval depends on the nature of the document. my wife's ILR was stamped within 4 days of receipt of additional documents and passport returned to us (by 2nd class recorded delivery) within further 4 days. That sounds promis...

The Solicitor said that if PEO keeps original documents and has asked for additional docs addressed to SCW team at same PEO, one could be lucky and expect it between 2-3 weeks or quicker. He said the caseworker does arrange your case and summarize everything for Senior Case Worker. The senior case w...

Advisable to send supporting doc apart from those requested?

Dear all Need your advise on what additional documentation to send. As you can see from my case, I was asked to provide a letter from previous employer explaining : 1) Why was I required to travel for business trips? 2) What was my role when on business trips? The case worker said send additional do...
