their letter might have their registration number. if not ask them a letter comfirming their regn. You are paying them so they might give you a ltter to UKBA.
it happens to a lot people as they trying to get same slots.. untill you get a reply , i suggest you keep try to get another slot. . If you got this one through , you can cancel the other one.
it is better call them a day before or two and let them know that there will be a payment of £XXXX from UKBA. They will take care of rest. thats what i did three years ago. i dont know about that now. probably the same scenario..
send them a mail at applyonlinee-support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and confirm the appointment. also log in to your account at ukba site and check if the appointment shows there.

They cant change any test which alresy booked. SO even if they changed it before 24th you can attempt your test booking. remember, if they want to chagne booking they have to release a new book which hasn't got happend yet.
