well, it is what confusing me.

if I am British citizen, why not ask for my passport..why do they need Naturaisation certs.

the list given from which one is supposed to selected, seems to aim at my wife, not me..

hence why I wanted to confirm from someone who may have gone through this..

I understand British Citizenship and British Passport is not the same thing. But question is why somebody would do naturalising (becoming British Citizen), but not apply for British passport?
