Re: EU3 Timeline for Non-Eu family Members of British Citizens

This appears to be a Dublin problem, as Raja does not appear to be a Dublin resident, I am not sure he may be able to assist you.

You could, provided the person qualifies in terms of ties to her home country.

Re: Status change

If your wife worked for complete 5 years and then went on Job Seeking allowance, will not affect your application, as what matters is what she did in a continuous 5 years period.

Re: EU3 Timeline for Non-Eu family Members of British Citizens

I guess you have seen it. How can it be differenciated between residence documents if they both have standard words. I also asked the department why they require family members to accompany EU national to station, an official at the EU treaty rights simply said, it is out of our remit, it is open to...

Re: Completely missed the settled status as a thing and the deadline too and I'm terrified now.

An application can still be made for late applicant, provided the delay in applying can be explained.

The treaty provides for late late applications with reasons.

Re: Scorecard is a positive development

I do not like the system, as it is so inflexible, i know people of independent means who have been residing in the state for several years, leaving with family members, so unable to get some of those documents. The state should show flexibility, if a person says we have been residing in the state, t...

Re: Zambrano Settled Status EU settlement scheme Paper Application Form - NEW

The FTt have started refusing Home Office frivolous Zambrano Permission to appeal application. Two of the refusal of permission received this week shows decision was made in November. One can only imagine if these judges were holding up promulgating their decision in the hope that Home Office might ...

You have completed 5 years, so you can apply now. As regards citizenship, you cannot apply now, as you have been away for more than 6 weeks.

Best to wait till next year.

Re: Zambrano Settled Status EU settlement scheme Paper Application Form - NEW

It seems like at least some people in the Home Office are creating alternate facts regarding the determination of Akinsanya, and they are pretending that the Court of Appeal actually allowed their appeal. I attended an error of law hearing yesterday, in relation to a Zambrano case, and I was rather ...

Re: EU3 Timeline for Non-Eu family Members of British Citizens

I complained about it, I asked them for the legal justification for requiring that at time of Permanent Residence, they said this is not their practice and not the law. It clearly is not the law, i am rather surprised they are still doing it.

Re: EU3 Timeline for Non-Eu family Members of British Citizens

A question for those who receive letters from Minister confirming grant of Permanent Residence.

Were you asked to go with your family member to the immigration office. This is for people outside Dublin.

Did the letter demand that you be accompanied by your EU family or not?

I have had to consolidate your posts. Please make sure you post on this thread in future.

That way you could get a better response.

It is possible that you did not sufficiently prove dependency.

Whatever the circumstances, you are entitled to a decision.

Re: EUSS for extended family

8 months wait is a stretch. I have had to wait for 6 months in a case i did in 2018, but that was because the judge was unfortunately deceased. I dread to say, that at the time of your appeal extended family members were not entitled to pre settled status, so it is likely the appeal may not succeed....

Re: Zambrano Settled Status EU settlement scheme Paper Application Form - NEW

One thing about litigation, never draw conclusions when only one party has provided their case. It seems to me that Underhill was at least not happy with their ground 2 argument, to change the law through the courts after 8 years. A law that has to all intent and purpose being repealed. The court wi...
