No, you don't have to have salary as a director, it's just financially stupid not to pay yourself at least the minimum if you have no PAYE income elsewhere.

thanks is there any other benefits of gaining ILR? will they get the child fund after registration? regards the main benefit is that your visa is permanent now, security etc. .. The rule is - if child was born in the UK then when the main applicant gets ILR, the child can be naturalised .. so JR makes no difference here ..

There was no job, this is a well known scam, people stealing money from bank accounts and use such naive people to cash them, I suppose the 10% had to be sent by western union somewhere abroad ?

Have you got 1 or 2 JR settlement letters, did you specifically ask in a cover letter to provide it for dependants too ?

No one's visa is backdated, that's right ..the letter should say you were available from the date when you had completed 4 yrs stay though

I assume is they say that it will be processed, the only thing you should do - wait till it's processed

What about the regular, "blue" A5 payslips ? they do not normally have any signatures or company logo on it, my impression anyone can print them ? hopefully stamp is not required ?
