Re: Extension: Employing on 40h per week basis?

To further proof:-

The extension application is available here ( https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _07-14.pdf )

I'd like to pull your attention to requirement 'R'... the most important word being 'AGGREGATE'.

Kindly provide some insight..

Re: Extension: Employing on 40h per week basis?

@ sky_rise, I think the reason why they stated that they will be calculating hrs is to make sure applicants employ someone on at least 30hrs pw in order to qualify for full-time employment rather than someone just paying a particular amount to staff and then claiming it to be full-time when in-fact...

Re: Got BRP Today Restricted work Business Invest

@ sindhoo, the requirement for employment is to show that you have employed 2 full-time workers in the last 12months before your extension is due, so for the 10 workers as well it will also be last 12months before extension. Last 12 months? Can't we split the employment over the period of the visa?...

Re: Came across a terrible experience at Luton Airport

True :-) Another friend of mine also had an issue at Luton airport, apparently the immigration officer told my friend that he'll slap him if he doesn't stop smiling. Apparently, Golden opportunity (to become rich instantly) missed :D Yes, he was allowed entry. It was his first time entry to the UK,...

I feel so bad reading this post. If they'd treat either of my parents the same way, I wouldn't know how I would react.

I have invested around 50K also, and it's in a loss. The first year for new businesses is almost a loss, due to the cause of new purchases. There is no such requirement that the business should be in profit every year by the HO, but if the business is in a loss even after the 3rd year.... the HO mig...

Apprentice and benefits

Hello I just had a few quick questions, and would like all your kind input on it. The questions I have are :- 1) Can we hire apprentices, and show the job creation? In the guidance it says, UK/EU Citizens + Number of hours worked + Hourly Wage rate. It doesn't allow/reject apprenticeship. 2) If the ...

Re: max absence days allowed for Dependant under Tier 1 Entr

Is there a restriction of 180days on main applicant?

Is there any sort of flexibity on this? As I need to travel quite a bit for my business purpose.

I entered UK in March 2013, does the 12 month period start from then? Or from the period I leave out of UK first?

Thank-YOu
