Thanks for the quick reply! Re: SET(M) or SET(O)

Presumably you applied for your first spouse visa AFTER you husband got ILR. You can only therefore apply in Set(M) as you do not hold a PBS dependent visa to be able to apply on Set(O).

Re your question on children, you complete question 3.6.

Did you do English A1 for your initial visa?

If yes, you need a new one. The requirement changed in May this year. You need A2 English.

As a PBS dependent, she can only apply on Set(O). She is the main applicant then. Her 5 years residence starts from the date she entered the UK. Or is it 5 years from the date the first PBS dependant visa was issued ( assuming that the date of visa stamping and date of entry is less than 3 months) ...

Unless they qualify for one of the visas on the PBS routes in their own right, then I don't see anyway for them to come as your 'dependents' or as your carer.

Curtailment letters can take many months to be sent out. You are only in the curtailment period of 60 days when you get the letter.

ILR rules page 5 states that overstay will be disregarded if ILR application in placed within 14 days Provide the link for this. Obviously an error or breach of procedure on the part of the UK passport control.
No 'error' or 'breach'. British passports are not stamped on arrival in the UK. You are overthinking this issue.

You should not have been given a visa as a British citizen is not subject to immigration control and cannot be issued a visa to 'enter' the UK. Your Bri...

Most people apply without using an advisor. It is not a difficult application to make if you meet all the requirements.

By funds, do you mean savings?? If yes, is it at least £62,500 held in an accessible bank account for a minimum of 6 months?

For all applications. Appying through NCS does not 'speed up' the process.

Highly unlikely that you will get a passport before mid November. Just the MN1 process takes a couple of months and you need that approval before a passport will be issued.
