Not sure what you meant here, are they asking you to send more documents even after your UKVCAS appointment?

I applied on 1st July - Set(M) dependent of a British citizen. - Received a confirmation email that they have received the payment. uploaded the documents on 5th July. The option to submit the documents to UKVI appeared on 11th July and I confirmed. Waiting with my fingers crossed for further email...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Sounds abit out of the Box. My assessment is they may have looked at reuse Biometric applications and may have made interim decision of approval . They just probably want to confirm the identity. What does others think in the same reuse Biometric category. Please share your thoughts. Exactly, they ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

What was the earliest slot available for? Slot was available even today in london, Birmingham, cardif. But this disappeared for London/Croydon after a few refresh (along with other dates) in matter of 5 mins max. Thanks, also did you submit your documents to UKVI using the new option introduced las...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

That is strange - since they said it is only open to people who applied upto 30th of June and that they should receive an email before they book. An error in the system perhaps . But hope if you have got the slot that it goes well !! All the best mystery solved, i actually paid little before midnig...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Its just my speculation: Maybe once UKVCAS opens up to applicants within a certain date period, the system pushes out emails in alphabetical order rather than date order. As some reported receiving the email earlier than who applied on a previous date, it might be their email address starts with an...

My application date was 30 June. In the email, they said that all application between 1-30 June can start booking an appointment.

I am just afraid if they asked me to rebook again and all full.
What was the earliest slot available?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I was checking for available appointment just like I do everyday. I found a slot and booked it in few days time. I am not sure how I got this despite submitting the application on 1st July. What if I don't get an email from them inviting me to get an appointment? are they going to turn me away 😟 Th...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The injustice goes on and on and on. I applied in 29 March. Still can not book an appointment, and waiting for biometric re-use to be ready. But people who applied not even a month ago can submit their biometrics. (Don't get me wrong. I am happy for them) But this has been very, incredibly frustrat...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

My wife was one of the luck ones that was selected not to attend the ukvcas biometric appointment. They'll use her previous fingerprints and she is supposed to give a picture online somewhat. But after the initial email telling us she was selected, we haven't heard anything from the Home Office. Ha...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi all, May I check if you have got any confirmation email after submitting document on the UKVCAS website? So far I only have one email from UKVI to confirm my payment has been made, so I am wondering if you have received any additional confirmation or system generated emails? If so, do you get it...

Hi All Joining the rear of the queue today, under no illusions how long a wait we have, but like others have said we have all waited 5, 10 years or so to get this point, another wait given current circumstances was inevitable I just have a few questions regarding what we do next. At the end of the ...
