UKBA tolerance to mistakes from Referees

Hello Members How tolerant UKBA is on mistakes committed by the referees? Just spotted that one of my referee put the date of the signature as 3rd OCT 2013 and according to the guideline they should have put 03/10/2013 instead. Email was also written in lower case which might be acceptable? Anyone i...

I may be wrong here but even if husband and wife are applying together they have to fill individual AN forms? At least thats the impression I got from the NCS people when I called for an appointment this morning. You confused me further. It can't be separate forms because when husband and wife appl...

New AN form expected?

Hello Members As we know that new changes are coming into force from 28th October. UKBA might release the new form days in advance so that anyone who is applying on after 28th October will have the new form available. Do any senior members know how this will work? As I am applying just before 28th O...

There is no problem if the referee signed before the main applicant. That is normal, you put the date you actually signed the form. Thank you Amber for putting my mind to rest. I think I will sign the application with same date as the referees which will be a month and few days before my NCS appoin...

Hello Members Can someone confirm if their signature date in section 6 was after the signature date of the referees and their application was successful without any problems? E.g. Referees signed on 1st September, 2013 and the applicant signed the application on 14th October, 2013 for an appointment...

Here is a link to a recent article about the strike (with a Q+A at the end). They say deliveries won't be impacted... but not sure if that will actually be the case! Also note the article says strike action could commence from mid October. From the article: Q. What does it mean for people who use R...

I think there will be no plans and the correspondence will be sent using the Royal Mail as they normally do. This is what they did in previous wave of postal strike few years back. I remember that when I was going through my Tier-1 visa process. It was nightmare and a lot of hassle for many applicants

Re: Signature of Referee

Imran22, It is natural to be anxious about imaginary issues in the final leg of the immigration journey. You can get the signature of the referee 1 month before you actually get to submit your application or if you are a person who plans meticulously you could have even got their signature earlier....

Signature date on Section 5 and Section 6

Hello Members I have got my referees to sign the form yesterday but I haven’t filled section 6 yet. Hello Members,

Can anyone who has recently applied tell me how the transaction exactly appear on your credit/debit card statement? E.g. “Home office” or “UKBA” or "Home office London" etc.

Many thanks
