Re: Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

Btw, how did you guys request for a form? I only filled up a question form and explained that I need a form as I am applying for EU settlement scheme (Surinder Singh).

Or is there another way?
I haven’t really got any reply or confirmation from them.

Thanks

Re: Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

Thank you for all the replies. 😊

I requested a form this morning so just need to wait for that. I really thought it’s gonna be a quick application but looks like it will be a bit of slow one.

Please share anymore updates.
Thank you xx

Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

Good morning everyone. 😊 I’m married to a British Citizen (Surinder Singh route), my proof of residency is a vignette in my passport. I am aware that we cannot apply for the test phase hence I waited till it fully open today, I checked the gov.uk and it is confirmed that the application is now fully...

Renewing Philippine passport, will biometric residence permit still going to be valid for eu settlement scheme?

Hello. Just wondering if anyone here may be able to know the answer. At the end of March, I will be eligible to apply for settlement scheme (Surinder Singh Route) and as you all know, to be able to apply, I will need to scan my biometric residence permit (vignette sticker). My passport is expiring s...

Re: Three questions about the EEA route after Brexit

Since Brexit means Brexit (?) it is my understanding that: 1. After March 29th, the EEA immigration route will cease to operate. This includes Family Permits, Residence Cards for Family Members and Extended Family Members, Permanent Residence, and Registration Certificates as Qualified Persons. EU ...

Re: EU spouse with UK resident card travel to Germany with EU national

Hi. This is only from my experience. I travelled to Cyprus last August with my husband without visa and was able to get through without problem. There was about 10-15 minutes wait due to them checking papers but that’s it really. It wasn’t that difficult, just be patient. 😊 Regarding the 2nd questio...

Re: Is it possible to use old passport (with my residence permit; vignette - 5years) when travelling?

At the end of March I will be able to apply for the EU settlement scheme but I just realised that my passport (Philippines) is expiring in June2019 which contains my residence permit. As discussed in this post: Will (pre)settled status mean new residence card you will be issued a new card under the...

If the residence permit expires before returning, then you may have problems boarding the plane.
Hello.

My residence permit expires in January 2020. It’s only my Philippines passport is expiring in June 2019. I’m just curious what will happen if I go for holiday?

Re: Article 10 Residence Card in the UK - What to do?

Hi everyone, I'm a British citizen who lived in Czech Republic for 3 years with my Russian fiancee. She's got "Residence Card of a family member of an EU citizen" for 5 years as I lived in another EU state for more than 3 months and exercised my treaty rights. We've been asked many questions when w...

Re: Need help urgently regarding applykng for eu settlement scheme..

The scheme is still beta - and very little public experience available - best to contact the user support (there must be some kind of contact info available in the app?). I read somewhere that only EU citizens and their family can apply for the beta? I got very anxious. 😱 I’m hopin that when they o...

I’m a non eu citizen married to a British (used surinder singh route), been here since 2013. My residence permit is on my passport, I tried to scan that but kept...

Re: Apply for PR or wait for brexit? - Under Surinder Singh

By the time you accrue 5 years in June 2019, Settled Status will be in place - and presumably PR will be phased out. So your only option will be to apply for Settled Status anyway. The way the events are heading in parliament at the moment, I wouldn't be so sure the settled status scheme will becom...

Thanks for that information - was the form 100+ pages? Did you have to attend any interviews? Re: Apply for PR or wait for brexit? - Under Surinder Singh

Oh I see. That makes sense. Once I get the settled status, will I be eligible to apply for naturalization? Or do I need to wait for another year (5years continuous residence + 1 year) or can I apply as my husband is British?

Thank you xx
