i dont have any past experience in this or similar issuse but as far as i am aware it is illegal to send passport or biometric card through international post or courier... so better you confirm this with correct sources...

as per the rule you do not have to prove your education credentials again if you are using qualification that was used for original applications. a photocopy will work in your case.

when you get your tier 1 extension you will not get any stamping on the passport but you will get a biometric resident permit. its a smart card with your biographic and geographic information.

its 1 feb 2012 to 31 oct 2012 as the payment that you received on 27th feb was for period of 1st feb to 29th feb. earnings period is not the date when you get payment but the time period when you have actually worked to earn that money.

when i had applied i had sent self addressed next day delivery envelope as well along with application form. i got my passport and other supporting documentation through that envelope. ukba uses DX secure courier service for biometeric card.
