Re: PCNs versus FPNs

All kind of fixed plenty notices speeding fines , points on the driving license you will need to declare them in your application. thanks. but in which section do you disclose speeding tickets? do I have to tick yes to a criminal conviction? if yes, is it still the case if I had attended drivers im...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

That's good Abhijack. I am in a similar situation as you with regard to the English language, and have given them very similar feedback as you have. HOwever I am toying with the idea of sticking to the online form, writing 'no' to degree in English, and in the cover letter explaining why I have had...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

Hi Abhijack, I am doing the online form now and I see there a line at the top which says: "BETA This is a new service - your feedback will help us to improve it." The workd 'feedback' is hyperlinked so I presume you can click on it and let them know. This is an important glitch you raise and should...

NTL application doubts

I received ILR in 2012. I am applying for NTL through premium service appointment next week. I have 2 queries. 1) Where do I include details of a speeding ticket? - Is it in the civil judgement or penalty section? And do I mention speeding ticket or is there a technical term for that? I had a speedi...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

ILR was in 2012. I think its a technical mistake in the online form. It should allow us to skip one or the other English language proof. The only way here to skip is to answer NO to degree taught in English question, which I cant as I said YES at the time of ILR ( at that time all I needed to say w...

I had ILR in January 2012 and there were no fingerprints taken.
So I guess it was probably not taken for you in 2010.

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

I am completing the online form and have a query / issue at the English language requirement section. I am using LIUK + Trinity B1 (passed last Friday). However, I am also asked to answer whether my degree was taught in English. (In the paper form I understand you can ignore this question as its an...

Re: Naturalisation application plus NTL - very confused..

An update on this. Muddy waters more clear now!! I am holding back Naturalisation application temporarily. I managed to book NTL premium appointment for 4th April. Even better I managed to reschedule it to 27 March. Can I expect the NTL/BRP within a week of premium appointment date? Should I wait fo...

Re: BRP Card processing time (NTL application)

Hello All, I share the same sentiments as I was refused a job offer last month because I do not have a BRP. Just to inform you that I have raised my concerns with my current MP as well as Ms Diane Abbot, who is the current Shadow Home Secretary. Just bear in mind that BRP came into play in 2008. As...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

In the online application there is a question: Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad? This doesn't seem to be present in the paper form. Are we expected to list all UK immigration application details? In my case, that would 5 or 6. ILR, HSMP extension, HSMP, Perm...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

I guess a sticky thread which states the different options to apply for [ A) Naturalisation alone & B) Naturalisation + Passport] would be extremely helpful.

Something like a Citizenship application process for Dummies guide.

From reading the previous pages I understand the options to apply for Naturalisation are either: A) Online application and post documents OR B) Online application plus NDRS (appointment within 10 days of online application submission) Question: 1) Is the above understanding correct? 2) Is JCAP (pape...
