1. Tier1(G) Visa will give you freedom to switch jobs and u dont need to worry abt ur employer will remove u n u have to leave the country


2. no there is nothing like that for ILR .. both are nearly same apart with Tier1 u can switch jobs..

In most of the cases the caseworker gives the visa validity date from the date of travel you mention..

You can put a max of 3months forward from the date you apply as date of travel

Since your current visa with the company has validity;

you are ok to live in the country till your company informs HO that you are no more working for them and You need to move out of UK with max 60days from the date they notified HO;
