I see no reason, why they should have to disclose any information to anyone other than a sexual partner or someone they are about to enter into sexual intercourse with, who they are oblige to tell by law. A country can ask for those information from a public health (financial implication aspect), bu...

South Africa is not one of them at present.

TB is a Airborne contagious disease, whiles HIV is not.

That is not rocket science, even my smart 10 years old brother was able to provide me an interpretation in clear English, when i asked him what he understood from it. I gathered they are using the fact that in the ECJ ruling in Diatta's Case, the judges stated that until the divorce absolute is issu...

Difficult_Guy, unfortunately, as John eloquently stated, the UKBA don't see things that way. They have sought to, and continue to seek to curtail the rights of non-EEA spouse of EEA national's as illegally as they can. John i accept your point and it is perfectly valid. It is a shame and a complete ...

If your wife is saying she never lived with you in the UK or was exercising treaty in the period leading up to the initiation of the divorce, that could be a bit tricky. I don't know what your query was about, but on the face of their reply, it seems accurate. The are obliged to facilitate your entry as stipulated on the directive, but there is no requirement, that they process a resident card for you before you enter Ireland. Resident card is only processed, once t...

There is no requirement for you to prove you are supporting her now. All the ECO will need to satisfy him/herself is evidence at the point of making the application. With the fiance visa, the requirement for maintenance and accommodation on your part is not exclusive. She can get support from friend...

If all the documentations she provides are water tight, i am sure there is every possibility that her partner will be able to secure the visa.

The worse thing to think, is that you will fail after all the hard work.

Janabee have you any evidence that you and your partner lived for two years as a partner, before he left the UK in 2008. If you do, you can apply for the Unmarried partners visa, which awards the same right as a spousal visa, and valid for 2 years too.

Hi Tanveer,

Have a look at the EEA 3 Form, and see if your partner will have the necessary document to support it.

Opening a bank account in 2005 is fine, she will just need to provide evidence for 2004, or she might just be border line okay.

You are right. It never clicked. This chap will not be able to obtain the fiance visa. If he came of age (18) in 2008, then he will be about 19 going 20 now.

I suspect he would need to wait for another year or two. It would be best for him not to submit an application as he would loose his money.

She can claim that she was living in the UK as a Self Sufficient Person. But she will need bank statement and Medical insurance to support that, and the family she was living with, could also provide a supporting letter, that they were providing for her needs. That is, if they were giving her money,...
