We need more people to support us. Please ask friends and family to take a part too, just use different computers to take the survey will do. Yes, we need to ask our friends and relatives. Even if they don't apply, they are directly involved anyway because it may influence them as well. Greenapple,...

Could you please provide little bit more details. I am applying soon, so it's very important for me. Why July or October? Do you have any sources of this info? Thanks a lot!

Come on, they will come to your home then. Nobody forces anybody to pay 6000 pounds. There are multi-millionaires among immigrants, why not, if somebody wants maximum comfort.

Anyway, we ask to vote for normal priority or super-priority service.

When priority service may be introduced?

UKBA currently has a survey about it (by the way, please fill it and choose super-priority or priority service, more info here: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=135380). I think it's better to ask for Priority service for 10 years ILR because I don't think they can make super-priorit...

I think you should also write in "Other" field that this is 10 years residence ILR. Otherwise, they may introduce it for other categories of ILR but still ignore it for 10 years residence ILR. Also, it is probably better to ask for 3-4 weeks priority service. I don't think they will be able to do su...

Fees are too high. We sponsor border control while we are most law abiding citizens. We are more law abiding than many people in this country. Why should we sponsor border control to watch for illegal immigrants, etc.

This is very bad and sick attitude towards immigrants.

I did the survey too. I also want them to make 10 years ILR application faster. But there is only one field in the survey where you can write yourself. I think it's on the second page (3 pages on total). They really need to make 10 years ILR faster. Please complete this survey and don't miss this li...

Chill out man Even if they refuse, you will have right of appeal, it would cover your time until it is over 24 months. I don't think you will need it but if worse comes to worse you will be fine anyway cause you will stay legally beyond 24 months after traffic crap. So just apply and if they refuse ...

Disclosure Scotland is no very reliable for doing criminal record check. They often list traffic offenses but it's not criminal record. Better order SAR or ACRO police certificate. It should not be recorded. Search this forum for previous messages about it. Mine too. I don't think they refuse it. Bu...

Failure to report may be an issue. But I'm not sure myself. Is it AC code?

Is good character for ILR the same as for Naturalisation?

When you look at UKBA website there is nothing about good character in ILR area, only in Naturalization area of the website. I wonder do they apply the same criteria for ILR in terms of good character as for Naturalisation good character? Good character requirements can be found in Appendix D here: ...

I don't think so. Many people got ILR with court fine and it also depends on what they treat as court issued FPN. So I think that the main ground for refusal for traffic offences is recklessness. So if you are fined for shoplifting then it's definitely 24 months wait, if it's traffic offence it shou...

Yes, I think you are very close to the truth. They must explain it much more clearly. They also added to the confusion with the new rules when they say that it affects only when it created criminal record. It looks like it's not always the case. So if it was not recklessness and no record then it sh...

But there are many examples on this forum when people got ILR with traffic offence. So it should depend on nature of the offence. There is a guidance for good character for British citizenship applications. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/nationalityinstructions/...

I got advice on this forum that it is usually better to declare it and it should not affect. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to declare it in case you don't have criminal record. Can some guru advice with the logical explanation, is it good idea to declare traffic offence if CRB is clear? It wo...
