I wonder if you'll get another letter from HO, saying that you have only paid IHS fee for 3yrs and not for the additional 17days , since they can come up with anything !

paying an additional £664 fee is just ridiculous, especially when they're not going to issue the visa beyond the total 6yrs anyway.

What is a sponsor note? As it is not possible to edit a live CoS, if any of the previously submitted information is incorrect, your HR can add a sponsor note on the COS to provide the correct details. I'm kind of in a similar situation, thanks to your post just spotted that my extension COS is 3yrs...

Hi My HR amended my work end date on my COS from 5 to 3yrs, by adding a sponsor note. Is a sponsor note sufficient to correct the 'work end date' ? or do I need an acknowledgement letter / email from HO confirming the change ? I've been issued a 5yr COS for my extension, but I can only apply for the remaining 3 years (as total 6yrs in Tier2 General) . Can I still apply for the remaining 3yrs extension and pay IHS for 3yrs only ? Please help.

I wouldn't ask that question before my last interview round. But I will ask them everything once I'm offered a job and before they are ready to assign a new COS.

I changed my address online, when I had valid leave. Strange I didn't get any confirmation email. How do I know if my address has been updated at their end or not !?

Did you receive an email confirmation at all that your new address has been updated ? just wanted to check because I remember when I updated my address online I never received any email.
