Hi

I changed my address online, when I had valid leave. Strange I didn't get any confirmation email. How do I know if my address has been updated at their end or not !? :|

Re: Change of address

I don't think its mandatory but best to have your current address updated with HO especially during a visa extension or if you're expecting letters. You can do it online here: https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... pdate.ofml

Re: Tier 2 Extension Salary Requirement

Code: Select all

So I assume I need £25,662 ( 14.10 X 35 X 52 ). please correct me if I am wrong?
If I'm not wrong, it should be 28600/39 * 35 which gives you £25,666.67 for 35hrs a week
wait for others to comment.

Certificate of Sponsorship (shortage occupation) 0 Do i have to write 0 or N/A or leave it blank ?

enter N if its not shortage occupation, it's the employer who assigns COS not the employee.

I don't see why not. Yes you can apply for a job that's in Shortage occupation list, even if you were in a different IT job previously.

Re: In-country switch from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 General

1. Yes, you need RLMT unless your job is in shortage occupation list.
2. unrestricted CoS and you can make the switch within UK. see https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/extend-your-visa

2. The duration can be anything. Your employer can put the duration he wants.
Are you saying, there's no problem mentioning start/end dates for a period more than 6 years in the COS ?
