I wouldn't bother tbh, unless its a pay cut, or major change in working hours or job role/description.

However, your employer should obviously start paying you the experienced rate from the new start date on your COS - even if your extension application is in progress.

Re: URGENT-Tier 2 Visa Application options-Need help from ma

You'll need experienced level salary for your extension, which is currently £29,900 (soc 2139). Salary rates will likely increase by 2017. Also you can have a T2 visa for upto a total of 6yrs.

Hi. What if during a T2 extension, the weekly contracted hours is reduced to 35hrs in the COS, and the salary pro-rated appropriately , will there be a problem ? Thanks.

PBS dependant of a SET(LR) migrant

Hiya. Is it mandatory for tier 2 dependant to switch to FLR (M), when the T2/PBS migrant is granted settlement under LR ? Can the tier 2 dependant stay legally till the t2 dependant visa expires ? Many thanks.

Re: Documents to show salary - Tier 2 ILR

I've done some calculation - could any member please advise if I'm doing it right. 35,000 = 39 hours x = 37.5 hours That would make it £33,653 for 37.5 hours. Does this make sense? That's correct. (35,000/39 x 37.5) If your contracted to work 37.5hrs and your salary in August will be £34,565, you w...

Re: Unique Tier2 Salary Issue..Plz help

cash in hand effectively becomes self-employment and thats not against in Tier 2 policy. Sorry, I meant to say self-employment is not allowed in Tier 2. I don't think a Tier 2 employer can pay cash in hand. At the time of extension, you do not need to provide any payslips. Main evidence to give is ...

I presume you meant the visa expires on March 2016?

If yes, and you extend your T2 in Nov 2015, and it got approved -your new visa expiry date would be Nov 2018. Not March 2019.

Re: Tier 2 General Extension

If the employer states 3 years, it will be for 3yrs starting from your visa approval date of your extension. Keep in mind that Tier 2 General visa will only be issued for a maximum of 6yrs. So if you've already spent 5yrs on Tier 2 general , and your next C0S for an extension states 3 yrs , you woul...
