I received the reply from the Embassy in Pakistan who have confirmed that the waiting time is 4 weeks.

Ive sent the Irish Embassy in Karachi an Email and Also the Irish Embassy in Iran as I beleive they deal with the Visa's for Pakistan this morning and am waiting for a reply.

Hi there sorry for the confusion.

what I meant to say is Non EU Spouse. when applying for a D Spousal Visa from Pakistan how long will we have to wait for the visa to be issued.

Does anyone know what the expected waiting time would be for a Non EU spouse to be granted a visa from Pakistan to Ireland.

You can't apply for it in the UK , as she is not there. You have to apply for it together in Pakistan or you come and set few things up in Ireland and then get her to make the application from Pakistan, on the basis she is coming to meet her spouse in Ireland. thanks for clearing that up Obie, would it have to be six months, would three be enough, I think three months will suffice, provided there is adequate funds going into the account over that three months period. As opposed to a lump sum deposited and a statement requested subsequently and forwarded....

Ok Family Permits are only issued from British embassies....you will have to apply for I'm sure it's a D-Spouse visa spouse of a European citizen.
