Just to clarify, is your college not confirming your attendance there by simply not replying to the UKBA's request thus leading to the refusal of the application? OR Have the college replied to the UKBA and have stated categorically that khurramuk was never a student at their insitution? OR Have the...
it's complicated - applied for IGS extension in January, HO sent letter confirming payment but credit card company actually blocked application fee for security reasons; HO marked app as invalid due to transaction declined and returned with option to resubmit but sent to wrong correspondence addres...
Agreed. ILR requires continuous stay in the United KIngdom. Therefore, if she meets the criteria for extension, then she should use this option instead.
Hello, I had made my application on 9 Fe 2009 under tier1 general I was awarded all the points except the 10 points for maintainence funds. I had submitted 2 types of statements for the same bank 1. Current account for salary (01-Feb-2008 to 02-Feb-2009). 2.Savings account for maintainence funds (p...
I don't think it will. The visa is valid for 6 months and assuming that she enters and leaves the country within that time frame and adheres to all the other conditions of the visa, there shouldn't be a problem. People can and do change their travel arrangements from time to time after all. It shoul...
Yes I do have all the other as the originals that come through the post :). its only the latest one that is a printout. I know its off the topic. But I have got a letter from the payroll as well as the HR confirming my employement. Thought its gud to have two different people confirming my employem...
Indeed. Two searate accounts is more than OK, and it is only the account being used as evidence for maintenance funds that needs to be consistently over £800. The balance in the other account is immaterial and is only being checked to see that your salary is going in like clockwork. As I've said be...
There's never any harm in trying to supply additional documentation. However, my view of the adminsitrative review/appeals process is that the decision made is reviewed on the basis of the information that was available to the ECO at the time. Strictly speaking, the extra information may not be cons...
You can try applying for reconsideration, but personally I would resubmit the application and this time insist that your bank gives you the requisite evidence. Sometimes, these banks absolutely amaze me. They are supposed to be providing a service to us, and yet treat their customers like scum. How ...
I was in a similar situation and my application was approved.
You need to be clear in your covering letter which statements are being used for maintence funds and which are being used as evidence of earnings. It will not influence your application if it's clear so don't worry.
I think you misunderstand me. I'm saying that BACS is not necessary.
What you need is:
a) evidence that your employer is paying you, i.e. a letter from them in the required format.
b) evidence that you are getting that money, i.e. bank statements confirming deposits of money.
Your bank statements will confirm that your money has gone into your account, and a letter from your employer should confirm a) your employment and your actual salary. I don't think that BACS is absolutely necessary.
My understanding is that you cannot submit "new" information during an appeal (though I'm sure that others who have more knowledge than me may say otherwise). If that is the case, then the appeal will be unsuccessful as they will not take your P60 into consideration and will say that it is your faul...
I don't think this should be a problem if, as you say, your socuments are all genuine. I'm assuming that Univisas was not under investigation at the time you submitted your initial application?
I disagree with the ECO's decision on this matter also (IMHO). The guidance does allow for signed and stamped bank statements as sufficient evidence, and I would hope that this was just an oversight on their part. I think that you should have a good chance of success with an administrative review.
This partner's account that you mention - is it a joint account with both your names on it? If so, the funds may still count. My only concern is that the rules regarding the maintenance funds requirement have been fairly clear, and the guidelines do say what evidence is acceptable and what is not. I...
