Just to clarify, is your college not confirming your attendance there by simply not replying to the UKBA's request thus leading to the refusal of the application? OR Have the college replied to the UKBA and have stated categorically that khurramuk was never a student at their insitution? OR Have the...

Agreed. ILR requires continuous stay in the United KIngdom. Therefore, if she meets the criteria for extension, then she should use this option instead.

I don't think it will. The visa is valid for 6 months and assuming that she enters and leaves the country within that time frame and adheres to all the other conditions of the visa, there shouldn't be a problem. People can and do change their travel arrangements from time to time after all. It shoul...

Indeed. Two searate accounts is more than OK, and it is only the account being used as evidence for maintenance funds that needs to be consistently over £800. The balance in the other account is immaterial and is only being checked to see that your salary is going in like clockwork. As I've said be...

There's never any harm in trying to supply additional documentation. However, my view of the adminsitrative review/appeals process is that the decision made is reviewed on the basis of the information that was available to the ECO at the time. Strictly speaking, the extra information may not be cons...

I was in a similar situation and my application was approved.

You need to be clear in your covering letter which statements are being used for maintence funds and which are being used as evidence of earnings. It will not influence your application if it's clear so don't worry.

I think you misunderstand me. I'm saying that BACS is not necessary.

What you need is:
a) evidence that your employer is paying you, i.e. a letter from them in the required format.
b) evidence that you are getting that money, i.e. bank statements confirming deposits of money.

You will need 2 pieces of evidence.

Your bank statements will confirm that your money has gone into your account, and a letter from your employer should confirm a) your employment and your actual salary. I don't think that BACS is absolutely necessary.

My understanding is that you cannot submit "new" information during an appeal (though I'm sure that others who have more knowledge than me may say otherwise). If that is the case, then the appeal will be unsuccessful as they will not take your P60 into consideration and will say that it is your faul...

I don't think this should be a problem if, as you say, your socuments are all genuine. I'm assuming that Univisas was not under investigation at the time you submitted your initial application?

I disagree with the ECO's decision on this matter also (IMHO). The guidance does allow for signed and stamped bank statements as sufficient evidence, and I would hope that this was just an oversight on their part. I think that you should have a good chance of success with an administrative review.

This partner's account that you mention - is it a joint account with both your names on it? If so, the funds may still count.
