Re: Switching to Spouse visa

In my honest opinion, switching to another visa category is no longer an option, having remained in the UK for the past year on an Unmarried Partner Visa which became invalid when your relationship ended. You would however, have had the right to switch as soon as you were no longer sponsored by your...

Re: Switching to Spouse visa

You and your ex-partner were legally required to notify the Home Office that your relationship had broken down. You won't be able to switch now to any other visa from within the UK and technically, you no longer have legal status This will have interrupted any opportunity to apply for ILR under 10 y...

Re: Spouse Visa - Outside UK

Good day, Could someone please advise me on the evidence required to meet the financial requirements for a UK spouse visa when applying from outside the UK. My wife who is the sponsor is working outside of the UK. Does she need to show 6 or 12 months of payslips, bank statements, etc. Appendix FM 1...

Re: GSCE Question

Hello, did you manage to find out the information you were looking for or you still don’t understand. As the guys wrote above, it’s unlikely that an employer will hire you, and this is a little logical. To the contrary. There are many roles available for 18 year olds without a GCSE qualification. A...

That's concerning - Then how does one prove to airlines etc - i travel from exotic parts of the world to UK and i doubt they would let me board the flight without one? Thx again, my brother had his Angiogram today no blockages found so over £1500 spent for nothing. They now think he may need a pacemaker  Decided to to prepare both the extension via FLR M and an ILR application. The B1 test looks easy the only hard bit will be the LIFTUKT I will try and stu...

It could be very coincidental that they both have 8 months stay in the U.K. This OP is showing an Indian flag not Thai as outlined in the split post.

Either way they share the same issue.
Not posting from the same IP address.

I am a holder of Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK, but my partner's job requires us to live overseas for an extended period. Will I lose my ILR status if I am not based in the UK due to my partner's work commitments?
ILR is lost if you are absent from the UK for more than 2 years.

Re: UK Spouse Visa - Big mistake made

You may need to submit a FLR(FP) - partner route application rather than FLR(M). The disadvantage would be that this will put your wife onto a new 10 year path to settlement (ILR), but it would mean that it would legalise her stay in the UK. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-to-extend...

Re: Skilled worker visa with a £19,000 salary

The role is on the shortage occupation list which allows 80% of the going rate to be paid. So technically you can be paid an incredibly low salary. The only saving grace is the minimum living wage. If you are 23 or over you must be paid £10.42 per hour. Based on £19,000 and £10.42 per hour you woul...
