Re: Spouse Visa - Salay / Child Tax Credit / Housing benefit

Re: Spouse Visa - Salay / Child Tax Credit / Housing benefit

My understanding is that in order to include self-employed earnings you need to submit a self-assessment tax return for the last full tax year. (If I'm mistaken it'll be my turn for the naughty step) Have you registered with HMRC? I wasn't self employed last year so what can be done in regar...

Re: Spouse Visa - Salay / Child Tax Credit / Housing benefit

Char, I believe for self employment it's the amount after business expenses have been deducted, i.e the nett amount on which HMRC will calculate tax due, but before tax has been deducted. Yes i have made Apps and designed a website for someone and got paid around £6k in total. My only confusion is ...

Re: Maintenance for wife visa extension

I'll try and help you but the calculation is fairly complex, so I'll leave it open for others to confirm or disagree. By my reckoning: The first £16,000 of savings are discounted. Therefore a shortfall of £3,500 x 2.5 year extension would require a further £8,700 of savings if you only have an annu...

Re: Maintenance for wife visa extension

Only savings over £16,000 will be considered to make up any shortfall in earnings. These must have been held in an accessible account for a minimum of 6 months. Hi thanks for your message. If I'm showing £16000 in accessible savings or current account do i still have to proof any income ? Income rem...

Maintenance for wife visa extension

Hi

I believe for partner visa extension it is required to have £18600 salary per year but what other alternative we can show if this year salary has gone down.

Can we show savings ? if yes then how much savings we do need to show up if cant prove the earnings via job.

Thanks

Re: Refused Visit for Mother in law please help with the ap

No,you can't. It won't change anything, it's clearly written they've got no problem with you being able to sponsor her, which is one aspect. The onus is on her to proof beyond reasonable doubt that she's got every reason to go back at the end of her visit. Thank you for reply Yes they have no proble...
