Re: UKVCAS - Uploading documents

Thanks ariamus,

Can someone please advise as to the requirements for passport scans?

For the passport we only scanned the photo page and vignette page (from previous U.K. entry clearance) do we need to have all pages which contain stamps?

Re: UKVCAS - Uploading documents

hi,

Thanks very much for your help.

We are currently uploading them as we speak.

For the passport we only scanned the photo page and vignette page (from previous U.K. entry clearance) do we need to have all pages which contain a stamp?

If so I can scan these remaining pages at work tomorrow.

Re: UKVCAS - Uploading documents

Hi, Please see the guidance as it is written below: "Scan in Greyscale or Black and white: To help contain the files size to 6MB please scan in ‘Greyscale’ or ‘Black and white’ and not in ‘Colour’. It is also helpful to keep the resolution between 150 dpi (dots per inch) to 300 dpi. This can be achi...

Re: Spouse Visa Related Questions

Thank you.

I’ve seen people mention on this forum that you must include applicant and sponsor passport photos in your application.

Is this the provision of passport sized photos (commonly taken in a booth); or scans of current passports?

Re: Change name before spouse visa application?

Hi, thank you for your help again.

Would you be able to link any similar threads as I'm struggling to find them.

Also, would we be required to send her current BRP card in the post when we submit her application?

Re: Change name before spouse visa application?

Possibly overthinking again, however just thought I’d ask. 1) Doesn’t updating her passport but not her BRP go against the HO Change in Circumstances guidance: https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp 2) If so spouse visa processing times can be up to 12 weeks from what I understand which wo...

Re: Change name before spouse visa application?

Will they not have a problem that the documents have different last names?

And also isn't there a requirement to update your BRP card ASAP after a change of circumstance?

I really appreciate your help.

Hi, I got married 2 months ago to my wife who is an American citizen on a Tier 4 Student Visa expiring soon. We got married in the states and it is proving to be difficult to change her name on documents like her passport and BRP card. The passport shouldn't be too difficult, however the BRP card is...

Both,

To summarise, does it seem that UK/EU Fees may apply to my wife should she continue her studies?

Many thanks,
