Re: HSMP extension -- Council Tax payment defaulted

Summon, Complaint, deffered-payments etc are different from Default, conviction, Criminal offense... Don't confuse them & lose your sleep over it. You don't have to declare anything nor should you be guilty over anything. Period. Hi Kapoor/nksg/chetan, To be more presise these guys send me a letter ...

Re: Anybody travelling in August...

There are places where 13 to 15 ppl share a 3 bedroom house/ flat. One can imagine how crowded that would be. Even those costs 100+/week/person. My advise for you would be to stay in a public hostel like YMCA etc for few weeks / months and then move out to new rented house/ flat with the friends you...

I wouldn't carry £4k as cash. Can you not convert them as Traveller's cheques? it would be much less riskier to carry them isn't?

Re: Entry clearence in to UK second time with out job

I think the problem is more with the Immigration officers in India (esp Mumbai) rather than UK, because over there they fail to understand the logic of "going to another country and searching for a job/ without a job"; I had to explain a great deal about HSMP & Immigration to them. Once you land in ...

Can't believe this..Is something wrong with 29th? I had applied on the same day & still haven't heard from them. Ppl who have applied on 26th (Fri) & 1st July (Tue) have received theirs on 15th & 17th respectively. I can't think straight - such as case worker load, 6 weeks normal turnaround time etc...

It is not required but you may want to attach a spl delivery envelope and take the reference number. You can use this to track where your packet is currrently by using tracker in Post Office's website. In one case, HO had sent it but the post was mis-placed. Luckily, throught this ref they were able...

Re: Any good Consultancies for precessing HSMP in India ?

Hi, If ur friend really insists on authentic advice from specialists he/she can do a google search by typing in PBS Tier 1 Chennai India. I think we need to advertise ourselves & spread to word wider, in order reach new entrants. Yes, Imm Consultants might be helpful in complex cases but for 99% of...

Re: Maintenance funds For Tier 1

One country is not the criteria. It's £800 minimum on all days over the past 3 months + the liquidity. As with your question, it has to be looked in at a more detail level because 1) it would depend on how much you had at Country X & its Xchange rate over past 90days Vs GBP. 2) & Great deal of exp...

Yes, I'm alright baldude, if not I wouldn't be making this point. You don't really seem to appreciate the fact. Did you ask your bank to stamp & sign the statements? or any additional letter? Hi there, I got my tier 1 last month. Re: Accommodation Proof - Dependent

If your wife will be coming to UK after 3-4 months, wouldn't you have found your own place by then? (since you will be moving out in 2 months). Whynot apply after 2 months then? It appears to be the safest and correct bet. But, seems you are inclined to file the application now with hotel booking as...

It is satisfactory to show 1st April to 30th June, if you are applying on 20th July. This satisfies all three rquirements. To address any un-foreseen troubles, can you arrange until mid-July? I'm not familiar with ING statements but I had provided my bank's statement without any stamping. They are l...
