Re: Zambrano Settled Status EU settlement scheme Paper Application Form - NEW

Things are not going too bad, Home Office appears to be relenting in their pursuit of mandatory appeal against allowed Zambrano appeals.

The last 3 appeal decisions I have had was not challenged. Maybe they have decided to ignore the appeal determination, which will be another matter.

Re: EUSS Refused going for Appeal Process (ADVICE)

Well she may be wrong on that, as there is a duty to facilitate in circumstances where a durable relationship exists before the 31-12-2020.

That duty does not extend to other Extended family members, but it certainly applies to durable partner.

Re: EUSS Refused going for Appeal Process (ADVICE)

Any Marriage that takes place after 31-12-2020,will not qualify under the withdrawal agreement.

If you can show your relationship was durable before the 31-12-2020, you may succeed.

The problem is, your application appears later, as it ought to have been submitted before 30-06-2021.

I think you may need to exercise some patience. Of the over 5000 Ukrainian visa application submitted so far, only 50 has been granted so far.

Re: Immediate family members will be able to join Ukrainians in UK

Usually when the Immigration rules define people with presettled status, it does not usually includes non-EEA national, it is actually referring to EEA national.

Non EEA national with PSS can actually sponsor no one.

Re: Inform GNIB if moving to Belfast?

I'm suggesting that the ceasing of being a resident of the state, the misuse of IRP cards whilst not being a resident, and failure to declare the change of address may affect that. I think misuse is a big word, i will not use it lightly. What this OP did, does not appear to be abuse or misuse. He w...

Re: Inform GNIB if moving to Belfast?

You are by law required to inform INIS of any permanent change of address. I accept that this is a Section 9 requirement, but my reading of that provision is that it applies to people who are within the jurisdiction of the state. The state cannot control people who are not within its jurisdiction. ...

Re: Immediate family members will be able to join Ukrainians in UK

Things are really tough for Ukrainians and I hope they get to safety. However one must not lose sight to the plight of poor African and Asian students, who simply went to Ukraine to get a better and cheaper education. Their plight and present treatment by unpleasant border guards must not be forgott...

Re: Immediate family members will be able to join Ukrainians in UK

What the UK government says in press statement and to its media, is different from what the do in practice. I think Ukrainians are best advised to go to Ireland, where they will be better received. I have been trying to get through the UK embassy, to assist families in Ukraine. I have been on the ph...

Re: Immediate family members will be able to join Ukrainians in UK

The government is in a mess, keep changing their policies to show they can match the EU. They are not acting in good faith. I cannot keep up with their flip flopping. It is clear they do not want Ukrainians in, but they are being shamed into adopting this policy. They are now saying extended family ...

Re: EUSS Family Permit Refused please advise me

As the refusal indicated family registration is very different from birth certificate, which you are required to provide. When doing an application, you need both or a Birth certificate.

Re: Immediate family members will be able to join Ukrainians in UK

Even without Borris Johnson meaningless proposal, you could bring in your parents, if they are dependent on you, that fact has really not changed.

If there is a delay, the option may be available to fly them to Ireland and then apply for them to enter the UK.

Re: Registration Office Passport Stamping

Some Garda officers simply do not take instructions, some like Navan and Cavan are nice but they do not always take instructions, i must emphasise that I do not think they act in bad faith. However I am unable to say the same for Garda Catherine at Kildare, she always act in bad faith, and try to pu...

I believe the time you left Ireland, relates to when you got your citizenship and left.

I do not believe that period that predates citizenship are relevant
